There were a lot of kids at my birthday party so I needed a lot of sticks. rookies, so I was worried they would catch a traditional sharpened stick on fire. These telescopic poles are easy to clean and do a great job filtering light. It was okay for all of the people to sit as close to the fire or as far away Hot dogs can be cooked by running them along the tongs or across them, and they can hold up to the weight of an average sized dog. Even some very hungry children could have carried two hotdogs with ease on it. The only flaw is that they are a little flimsy, so their long term use is in doubt. It's possible for them to hold up with occasional use or rotating, but I'm not convinced this is a product that will last a lifetime.

Buying this set for our son and his family was a gift for them. Having a favorite color to use is a big deal for the boys.
