Zabel, I installed it on my 22 1/2 inch. Wish I had told you I had done that before. It's an old-style model from over 20 years ago, but it works splendidly. Make sure to clean and take out any debris from the interior of the kettle. The installation took about 15 minutes and the software was easy to use.
You are unlikely to find this work for you if you need to ask the question. *br>This is a replacement grille for the Weber Kettle. In addition to serving as a damper (for controlling the amount of air to put on the coals), it also serves as a cleansing device. Acorns fall from the bottom of the kettle, where the ashes are.
As far as I can tell, my grill is prepared I have used it here since 2000 and it worked well. The old hardware was hard to remove due to rust but the replacement fitted

The mileage may vary on your installation of this new product, not due to the fault of the product but due to the condition of your previous I saw a video on youtube where someone beat out their rust with a hammer after observing several it had become very rusted. My only regret is seeing that, since I felt as if it was my duty to do that. Taking a few swings at it, I bent the bottom of my grill, which I was not able to fully tap back into place but it was just enough to fit my new grill. In retrospect, I should have used the claw of the hammer to apply pressure against the handle so that the rusted portion of the rod could be broken loose, then it would have split right out without much effort. It is a pretty simple process to crack the rust hold on it with the claw of the hammer on the handle. If you are replacing yours with a much rusted one, use the claw on the handle to get leverage while rotating it and breaking the rust hold.
In recent weeks, I have been searching for up, and refurbish it to be used. Thanks to the porcelain enamel underneath all that burned on soot and grease on the kettle and lid, all was On the other hand, the bottom of the "One-" I had to buy this replacement kit because the Touch Cleaning System sweep/vent blades were corroded to the point that it was unlikely to keep burning coals inside the kettle. It was nice to see that all the parts were included in the package, along with instructions to guide assembling (follow the instructions I found it very difficult to remove the old vent system, as its attachment to the kettle base was solidly rusted onto. Clean 22" One-Touch Display with Touch Cleaning System Kit Part #7444). 7444 is a touch charcoal grill. In the same way that they did, I used a hacksaw to cut both sides off of the old rusted lever- A nut-like substance This washer assembly has a tapered design. It is the rusted washer that prevented the hacksaw blade from damaging the kettle, so the entire assembly fell As a result of leaving the older vent system in contact with the ash (e. g. From now on, I will clean the blades of the kettle and vent after every use.
The product appeared to be very high my old copy will not come out (as it did in my case). cooks), then it might There was some reason for me to feel a strong emotional attachment to mine. This makes airflow harder to control when you run without this part (vents wide open). The original kettle has a patina that evokes memories of BBQs past, but its interior looks brand.
The simple instructions that come with the product make it extremely easy to install. As a replacement for my old cleaning kit, I found this to be superior. A hacksaw with a metal cutting blade was right at hand to get rid of the old one that had been heavily rusted into place. When I took the opportunity to clean the kettle, I was surprised to find that the enamel and kettle both looked brand new under all of the charred crust that had collected over the last 11 years. The new cleaning kit slid into place easily and was very simple to use after being cleaned. As for the installation, it took about a minute to complete As a result of cutting the old kettle out and cleaning the kettle, there was an extra 20-minute wait You have 30 minutes left.
It needs a replacement for the ash removing system after I've had this grill for about 6 years, I use it at least once a week and I use it frequently. If the ash remover is rusty or needs other tools, check the instructions. You'll need a flat screw driver for installation/removal, but depending on how rusted it got, other tools may be required. It was not possible to twist the handle with a screw driver so I used WD40 to loosen the old parts and a hammer to try and loosen them. You can see the pictures attached to get an idea of what I'm talking about.
Because my grill is so old, it was originally equipped with a nut and bolt to hold the original blades in place. By the time the blades wore out, the nut and bolt had become hopelessly fused. The only way I could grind it off was by buying a special tool. This allowed me to add charcoal easier, so I replaced the old blades with this, and the cooking grate with one that was hinged so that it could As long as I put my old grate upside down, this one on top, crossed with the wires, I am able to cook small items that used to fall through the old one. The ashes were originally caught in a pan that looked like a hubcap. There is no word on how that turned out. There is a huge water pan, which I found for ten bucks, in the pet supply section of the big box store. Putting it at the bottom makes sense to me. My garbage only has to be disposed of once a year since it is so large. Now that I own my grill, it is better than it was years ago when I went to buy it.
