Any of Weber's grates are fine to use on enameled ones. When you're dealing with enameled surfaces, you should not use metal scrapers instead, you should apply a wood scraper. As this brush has been in my possession for quite a while now, it has held up very well and has never shed a bristle. In addition to the brush, I use my Weber with a larger brush.
The grill cover fits over the grill bars or between them and is one inch wide. Quite a bit of cleaning can be done with it.

Having a brush like this one makes it easier for me to reach the areas that my big square brush, which I've had for years, cannot One of the best ways to clean burner tubes is with this one. Definitely a nice addition to my other brush as it is stiffer and has a 2-way scraper to remove burnt foods between the grates. This little brush is definitely a nice addition as well. I am not familiar with how well the bristles will hold up to rough use so I am not sure how it will fare, however I am glad I purchased it and feel it is The grill brush is helping me clean up after using the grill. I am not a Felix Unger type so I like to keep it clean. When I go to a friend's house for a barbecue and see a nasty filthy grill my food will be cooked on, I feel sick to my stomach. There is absolutely no way that could happen at my place, as my grill always looks like it was just bought and this is the first time I've used it. My cleaning task became a lot more convenient with the brush and I'm glad I paid the $8+ for.
