My first impression of this unit was very positive. In the past month or so I purchased the huge Pit Boss PB1150. Though I love it, it is very large. In my opinion, two smokers are better than one. Therefore, I bought this unit to use when just my wife and I are using it. I put it together without any problems. Some fluctuations occur in the temperature control, but most smokers do that anyway. The best thing about it is that I have used all the smokers and grills I have owned over the years without needing to clean them.
It is a portable unit that I use every day when I travel. To follow the pellets running out, you just need to keep an eye on them.
My RV is equipped with a Pit Boss grill that I have in my backyard and I wanted to have another A grill of this quality will not disappoint you. The greatest camping vehicle there is. I found this to be very easy to My only reason for a 3 is that our first attempts to use it resulted in an error and the directions on how to fix it were unclear. Getting to the bottom of this took a lot of self-reliance. figured it out, but we were under the impression that we could put the meat on and then set it and forget it, which in reality is not the case. There's no doubt about it you should watch it closely. We have had great food after all that, once we made our way past the errors.
It is easy to clean and use the grill. My only problem was that I was unable to remove the temperature control knob since it was not in line with the temperature.
Camping is a breeze with this! It is what we bring with us every time we go.
This small, easy to clean, easy to assemble item is small and easy to clean. Considering the temperature control issue, we did have a little difficulty controlling it, but we are happy with the overall result.
