Questions & Answers
There are no stupid questions, only stupid people who ask them! > ) I'm only joking (gently, of course). In all seriousness - You should never, ever, ever have a fabric/cloth-based business. While a generator is running, type a cover over it - (a) Due to the heat generated by parts of the generator (we're burning gasoline/fuel here! ), it could catch fire. ), and (b) it obstructs the intake of air as well as the exhaust of combustion gases. (Yes, there are specially designed generator covers, for noise reduction and other reasons - They are, however, custom-made - and they're never made of fabric or cloth; They're impenetrable barriers.
The size XL will fit, but the length will be a little longer.
Good day, I have an 8,000 watt generator that fits perfectly, and the material is of good quality. It's preferable to go a size up so you don't rip it off and on. I'm not sure why you'd want to tighten it up. I hope this information is useful. Continue to be cautious.
It ought to do the trick. For my 10,000 Watt Genrac, it's a bit too big.

For my Briggs and Stratton Storm Responder generator, which is kept outside on a patio, this is a surprisingly sturdy cover at a reasonable price. I can vouch for the fabric's water resistance, but I can't speak to its long-term durability. Based on the material and apparent good design and workmanship, I expect it to last a long time, and in the meantime, it keeps the generator dry and protected from dirt and the elements. br>br>June 2020 Update: For the past two and a half years, this cover has been continuously used and exposed to the elements. With the exception of minor sun bleaching of the cover's color, it continues to protect our generator and has held up remarkably well.
It protects my generator, which is mounted on the back of my truck. In December of 2017, I purchased this property. It had become brittle and had ripped open at the corners by June 2018. On generators stored outdoors, the cover is adequate at first but only lasts a few months. It might be fine if kept indoors, but it won't work for Gen sets kept outside; you'll have to go to the store and buy something to cover the set. It is no longer useful as of August 2018.
In less than four months, our generator cover disintegrated. I'm very dissatisfied with this product, and as soon as I figure out how to activate our warranty, we'll be getting a new cover or a refund.
After reading some negative reviews about the DuroMax branded generator cover, which claimed it was too small and prone to tearing, I decided to purchase one. I took a look around and found this hidden gem. It's snug but not too tight, and it's simple to remove and reinstall. with the handles tucked into the pockets The bottom can drape over the wheels because there is enough slack. The cover only just touches the ground, allowing for some air flow and crumbling to collect stagnant water. A covered air vent is also included. The seams have been folded over and double stitched, and there are no more gaps or bunching of material. Overall, the design, materials, and workmanship appear to be of high quality. I can't recall the exact price I paid right now, but it was significantly less than the DuroMax brand.
The Duromax "Beast" is a huge 12kw generator with double handles and wheels on the outside of the frame. A cover for a machine like this needs to be able to compensate for these features. I was surprised to discover that this Porch Shield cover fit over the entire generator, including the wheels, with ease. The access flap is strategically placed so that you can leave the handles off while still keeping the generator protected (mine is in the garage). The purpose of the cover is primarily to keep dust out. Because the Velcro is thick, it adheres well to the surface. If stored outside, I believe it would perform well.
Perfect for an 8750 predator. I went down a size from the largest and it fits like a glove.
It's a little big, but with the help of the handy straps, buckles, and Velcro strips, it fits perfectly. What I can't believe is the amazingly high quality of the material it's made of, as well as the reasonable price; they also send you a nice size spare piece of the fabric in case you ever need to make repairs. Another nice feature is that it has a velcro-secured flap on one end that conveniently accommodates the generator's handles. I liked this cover so much that I bought the smaller size for my Honda EU3000is.
Because of the good reviews, I decided to buy it. I needed a good cover for my Duromax 10000EH generator, which I had recently purchased. There are no tight spots in this large size. The material is thick and appears to be long-lasting for both indoor and outdoor use. This cover was only a few dollars more than the Duromax cover for my generator, but it received poor reviews and was too small in some areas.
