Questions & Answers

Does this 1/4 in. hose have the capacity to handle high flow rates, such as 18 liters per minute? I would also like to hear from the manufacturers. ?

Despite its simplicity, this hose worked fine with a system that was without any kind of pressure regulator.

Is there a maximum number of 1 GPH emitters I can run off 10 feet of this tubing?

From a length of 10 feet, you should be able to run up to 10, but your water pressure really determines how many you can operate. In general, I would not recommend running more than 10ft of 1/4 inch tubing off a 1/2 inch main supply line. I have run as many as three 10ft 1/4 tube branches off of a 1/2" main supply and it was okay but I believe that was the maximum you could do.

What do you think about the holes in it?

A hole does not exist in this product. From the 1/2 inch black distribution hose to the 1/4" drip hose, I believe this to be the distribution It's necessary to attach connectors at the end of both of the 1/4' distribution hoses, and to attach connectors to both of the 1/2" feeder hoses. Additionally, a connector is needed to connect the 1/4" drip hose to the 1/4" feeder hose at the end of the 1/4" feeder It consists of a 1/2" main feed, 1/4" distribution hose which is solid and a 1/4" drip hose which is porous and allows the water to drip through the membrane. There are no holes in the membrane, only its pores permit the flow of water. A variety of connectors join the hoses together. Here is a video showing how to connect a drip hose. It may be of some help

There is a possibility that this tubing may feel softer and more flexible than the stiff tubing used in most toilets, but that does not alter its ability to redirect

The quality is poor, the paper is thin and hard
5/5

Despite how cheap the material is, the design and the extrusion are good. Despite the thin sidewall, it is really strong. This tubing is so much thinner than anything I've purchased at the big box store There was a better quality store in the big box. There is a stiffness to the fittings, and they are hard to force. Because it is flexible, its coiled state cannot be changed You're in good Since I will be replacing this in the near future, I will only use it on very short runs that are not underground. The recommended course of action is not.

A drip system would be ideal for this
3/5

We found this tubing to be less frustrating and easier to work with than previous tubing. It will slide over if you warm it a little and don't force it. Works well in my garden without any leaks or loose parts.

The first month after purchase, the device sprung a leak
5/5

The problem with the connection caused me to have to order a replacement pretty soon. When I forgot to turn it on over night, my landscaping crew sprung a leak. Upon coming out the following morning, I discovered it had been misting out large amounts of fine mist. It is currently in the garbage waiting to be picked up by the truck. Spending money on a waste of time.

For drip emitters, I prefer to use flexible tubing
4/5

A great tube for drip emitters or microsprays made of polyethylene. It's robust because it's made of polymer, although not as rigid as the Toro or Rainbird tube, so you'll find it stays put better rather than behave like a spring like the latter. Whenever I am extending the main line to drip emitters or spraying over vinyl, I prefer using this material because, when exposed to UV radiation from the sun or elements, I believe it will last longer. For ground runs, vinyl is the most likely material to lay flat on the ground because it is most likely to lay flat on a flat surface. A few years ago, I bought some vinyl tubing that hardened in merely a few years My feeling is that polyethylene will harden and crack over time much more quickly.

It would have been nice if you could get something similar to the DIG you got The material is somewhat stiffer in this case
5/5

Big Orange's new products are not as stiff as some products that they now sell. The bud is fine, but I will need to train it to reach my container plants by using a heat gun. Landscape plants do fine with this type of container, just a little untidy when you move them.

I found the tubing to be of good quality at a fair price
3/5

It does what it is Voici a tip If you would like it to slip on to your emitter more easily, heat the end. It is not necessary to melt it you only need to warm it up. A small torch works well for me, but a lighter or heat gun will also work fine.

This was a disappointing item for me As the plastic used is too stiff, it is difficult to work with even if it is required to run in a straight line
5/5

A better option is to buy 1/4 tube that is more flexible.
