There are actually 20 of them! As I wasn't sure either, I ordered two packs and ended up with forty.

If I need one of these with a female threaded side, where can I find one?

I am not sure which coupling would do the trick for you, but a threaded 1/2" coupling might. Despite that, it is not hose thread, but pipe To make a long story short, they produce threaded adapters for hoses.

Could you please tell me the exact OD of the barrel ?

A 17mm fitting like this one should be used. This is what I needed. What size tubing are you trying to use them with? A 570 ID tubing is a size 570.

I purchased this to replace This is the perfect replacement for it. The threads fit snugly and easily. Although the wall of the hose connector end is thicker than that of the one that broke, it seems to be a much more durable unit than the one that is now in place.

Firstly, if you buy it at all, it is junk. If you buy it, just pay a bit more for a better brand because after 2 minutes of running the water at 25 psi, it comes off the hose and makes a mess.
