The plants grew nicely in southeast Iowa, and I think they would thrive here in central Pennsylvania as well The plant should be able to survive as long as you wait until after the last frost. I have grown moonflowers in southern Missouri with no problems.

Growing anything from seeds is new to me, but I followed the instructions to the letter. In the first step, I soaked the seeds for 24 hours in water and then transferred them to an egg carton with soil inside. After watering the carton and letting it sit for about a week, I moved it to my window. The seeds sprouted 8 days before they started to grow. We sprouted 20 out of 22 seeds provided in the packet. It is evident in the pictures that these vines have grown like weeds now. Thank you for the seeds! I'm very happy with them!.
There are three vines on the right in this photo that are 10 feet tall and will climb the string to reach the top of my studio where we have an office and a small From our back porch, here's a view of the backyard. The vines in the planters below grow along strings and provide flowers beside our dining table at night. I have vines growing about 15 feet from the planters below to the porch rail. The company provided clear instructions on how to soak and score the seeds and was very responsive. I'm amazed at how well that There was no issue with germination and sprouting of the seeds. My friends and I were able to share young plants.
Its blooms are the size of a coffee saucer, with a delicate fragrance. My order has been re-ordered!.
My seeds came in a timely manner after I ordered them. On the front of the packaging were nice instructions. After we scored the seeds, soaked them for about 32 hours, and planted them in Jiffy pods, the sprouts started to appear within five It is likely they will get accustomed to the outdoors in the next week or two. Purchasing this item has been a good experience so far. After two weeks of planting, these photos were taken.
Their arrival was on time, in a ziplock bag with a card. They did not have any instructions. It was tricky to plant them because I googled how to do it, and I put them in water for 24 hours. My seeds didn't germinate after I planted them. During my recent visit to the pharmacy, I found moon flower seeds for just I can see the little leaves forming in the ground, because they germinated really fast in the bag. The seeds are very disappointing to me.
Last night, I split the seeds and planted them after soaking them for 24 hours. We now need to wait for the moon flower to sprout. Thankfully, the moon flower grows quickly. In the past, I have always collected the pods and replanted them and the plants grew Although I tried a few seeds that I had, after being packed up for 2 years and traveling across the country, they didn't do well. For them, it was too much. Looking forward to the amazing scent and beautiful flowers to grow in my garden! * NOTE *UPDATE Approximately 11 days after seed germination, my moon flower buds appear. There were no seeds that did not sprout and all are growing rapidly. It was only the one my husband tried "to maneuver" out of its pod that he had trouble with.
During the spring in western Massachusetts, I started them in a sunny window indoors. In the months following the last frost, I relocated them into larger containers outdoors, in an area that gets full sunshine all day long. A good amount of growth was achieved. It took a long time for the vines to grow. A large white flower appears on each plant every one to two evenings when it matures in August. It's only natural that the flowers will fall off the next morning, and the next morning you'll find them on the ground. If you get close to the flower, you will be able to smell a very nice scent. Moonflowers were a plant I grew in the ground many years ago, that time in New York. I cannot recall the variety my plants were or where they came from. At that time, they bloomed more flowers in the evening and they were more fragrant (perfumed the air in the evening). No clue if it's because of the type of Moonflower, the location (more north now) or because I planted them in containers this time, but I got fewer flowers and they were less fragrant, but we still got a lot of beauty.
For now, I soaked them overnight in water and planted them in small pots to get their roots As long as the temperatures stay higher, the seeds should germinate. We have had an unexpectedly cold winter where we live, so I will be patient!.
