In tepid water, the seeds of Thunbergia are recommended to soak the next day. You can plant black-eyed Susan vine seeds in prepared seedbeds after the last frost. After soaking the seeds, plant the seeds outdoors in the late spring. In order to get a head start on the growing season, plant Thunbergia Alata seeds indoors a few weeks before you plan to plant the seeds outdoors. The seeds of Thunbergia flower germinate better in the dark.
The Thunbergia seeds sold by Seed Needs are non-GMO based seed products and are intended for planting in the current and subsequent growing seasons. We produce seeds from open pollinated plants and store them in climate controlled facilities. We constantly move these seeds out due to the popularity of the seeds.

Questions & Answers

Is it possible to have several different colored flowers on the same plant? How many of these blooms were white, orange, or yellow for those who saw them?

Yellow flowers were the only flowers I received from my seeds. As the vine grows extremely fast, you have to think about where to plant it so that it does not take over the nearby plants.

experienced yellow leaves and mites on a plant I bought from a nursery. When grown from seeds, will this pose a problem? My plan is to grow them on a trellis indoors. ?

Growing mine outside was a great experience. They taste great, there were no pest problems, but it was a lot of work to water them every day

In 10 weeks after planting the seeds, there are no signs of growth. If they have not bloomed in time, what's happening?

Until Thunbergia starts flowering, it takes quite a while. You may be able to help annual flowers by using a good fertilizer. My plants are generally started indoors so that they bloom in the middle of the year Continue into the fall and through the winter.

I thought it would be better
5/5

Our planter around the pool and the garden in the back spend hundreds of dollars on annual plants every year. A design that would have a big impact on the pool deck without costing a great deal of money was what I wanted. In April, I planted two packs of seeds in peat pots that I scored with a fingernail file, soaked in warm water overnight, and then planted. It only took a week for all of them to germinate. To support the tomato vines, tomato cages were added. Two weeks after they took root, the plants have woven their way through the tomato cages and are covered in yellow, orange and white Is able to get the job done.

Flowers are delicate and full, but the plants are easy to We waited to write the reviews until the plants are fully grown
5/5

There is a zone 6a area in Ohio. They started flowering about a month ago after being planted in the beginning of July. I am loving it, a lot of germination has taken place. Despite being delicate, this flower seems to be resistant to deer (petunias and portulacas were all eaten, but not the black eyed Susan. We hope to harvest some seeds to take to next year.

Those are some great seeds
5/5

Just a couple days after ordering the seeds, I received them, which I think is amazing given how slow Amazon has been lately because of In the beginning I scored each seed with a nail file (I just grabbed a tonne all at once and rubbed them against the file). Then I soaked them in warm water for 24 hours. After six days I noticed the seeds have started sprouting. In spite of running out of seed starter, I planted many in organic potting soil and some in organic The seeds have successfully sprouted on both substrates. Despite only being 28 days old (as was the case with seeds I purchased from other growers), these seeds are already way ahead of the game. It is likely that many more will sprout in the coming months I will be out of town for two In the future, I will update the post with the updated results.

A VERY dissatisfactory experience
3/5

Definitely not what I expected. There are 200 seeds in my order We grew them in a special way, a germination system with the same conditions for all of them I have four plants that have That's an epic fail, in my opinion! This is a company I will never purchase from.

When sandpaper is used to scrape seed, seeds will grow
5/5

This plant is hard to grow, according to my knowledge. I looked online for information on how to grow these seeds and found that you should put a piece of sandpaper against the side of the seed and slide it. My seeds then grew in a paper towel full of water and I put the paper towel in a bowl of water You start sprouting. Once that's done, I planted them in these little starter It's going well for them. After I have made some progress, I will update you.

The seeds look good
5/5

A total of two seed packs were delivered to me. The seeds were very hard, so I ground them a bit with sand paper to soften them a bit, then soaked them for about a day and a half. After a few days, I put them all in my seed starter tray and they have begun to sprout. My sincere thanks go out to you. The vines will look great across my living room when they're grown!.

It's so lovely to be surrounded by such beautiful Unfortunately, I can't find any already started plants
3/5

I am sure I would have better luck if I purchased them already started. My decision to buy your seeds was based on that. Additionally, they made sure they had enough light by buying a grow It was only one pack of seeds that I planted, thank goodness, because not one plant came up. However, I have read other reviews that are expressing how well they are performing and how well they are growing, but sadly mine is not one of them ( This is why it makes me feel like something I did must have been The problem is I do not know what to do. Having planted the second pack of seeds in this way, I have become hesitant to plant the third box. I was very impressed with the service and the speed of The packaging was lovely and the seeds appeared to be in good condition. User error? You're welcome. I'm grateful for your help.

Twin Pack of 100 Black Eyed Susan Vine Seeds (Thunbergia alata - Twin Pack) - Seed Needs
3/5

They gave you directions, they came in a Twin Pack, they arrived when they said they would, and the price was reasonable. Seed trays with water were placed on top of them and they were kept moist. The fact that so few actual results were displayed bothered me. Having read what others have said, I have scored and got A pre-election party My seed was soaked and I did what the seller said. Other kinds of seed that I bought from other sellers came up and grew I don't know if I did them wrong or if I got a bad batch of them. Please accept our sincere thanks,.
