The weather and soil, as well as the water and soil, depend on where you live! The Sunshine State is home to me! My vines were 6 feet tall within two weeks and were starting to bloom shortly after. These blooms have continued all year long.
You may have to wait a while depending on your location. I live in Florida, so they grow and bloom year-round and the vines grow like crazy. Have no idea how they'd do in a cold climate
Selected User Reviews For Mix of Blue, Purple, White, Rose Morning Blooming Vine Seeds
The Blue, Purple, White, Rose Morning Blooming Vine Seed Mix sold by Marde Ross & Co. will give you a stunning show. This image was taken on May 5th after I planted these seeds in regular potting soil on May 1st. I soaked these seeds overnight, and then planted them on May 1st. What impressed me the most was the speed with which Morning Glories take about 120 days to blossom, so you'll be able to see their first bloom before you know it. Having these to share with friends and being able to admire all the blooms they produce is very exciting for me. If there is anything noteworthy to add, I will update this review.
Highly Highly Recommended!.
Most of the seeds sprouted by Tuesday after I planted them on a Saturday. It took them until the following Saturday for them to reach approximately two inches in height. Approximately 3/4 of the candidates have already been selected. It looks like the rest will not be enough, but I planted the whole bag, so I am sure to When they are ready, I will plant most of them in small biodegradable pots so they can go wherever I want.
I planted too many seeds, thinking only 30 or 40% of them would grow, but boy, I was wrong, they all grew, I need to thin them out till spring. I found the seeds very good.
My apologies, I didn't understand what the writer wrote. As I expected, there were multiple packets of seeds. Instead, there appeared to be just one plastic bag nicely labeled with a wide variety of Choosing which seed to plant is a bit of a challenge, and I anticipated The growth of these plants will be fascinating. It will hopefully be a happy day for me. There were a bunch of different seeds in one plastic bag, and I wasn't happy. Do you not think it's worth it for the price because you get a bunch of seeds in one packet? However, I planted them anyway back in the spring – now it is August and there are a lot of leaves but no flowers yet! This is the first time I have been disappointed! *Not happy! *Not happy!.
I soaked them overnight as instructed, then planted them. It's been about two weeks since I last checked on them, and they seem to be doing well. As I live in the Florida Keys, it is difficult for anything to grow on our ground, so we are off to a great start. One thing to keep in mind is that morning glory plants are not popular with iguanas. Keeping my fingers crossed that these survive is the last thing on my mind.
My mom was surprised to receive seeds so fast, they are sitting on top of peat pellets in my living room in a dark box. Upon sprouting, all of them followed the same pattern. In addition, I planted periwinkle seeds out on the left side, they take a lot longer to grow. My sprouts have sprouted so fast that I am happy.
I cannot verify if these are the morning glory seeds, but I can attest the sprouts are viable. Generally, I am happy with this listing. I am scared that planted too late and they won't survive, but if that happens, if they don't, I will order more from this listing.
There are not many seeds for the price. Very disappointed. I hope they germinate and succeed for this price. *update on May 27th I was pretty pleasantly surprised indeed. I followed the instructions to soak the seeds overnight and everything has come up regardless of the price.
