It is a beautiful plant with flowers. I received 5 qt) from another Amazon seller. One of the most bizarre aspects of the delivery is that someone must sign for it. Over the past 10+ years, I have lived in an apartment building with an entry security system and have never had a problem receiving Amazon orders. In any case, UPS claims to have attempted delivery of the plant twice with no luck. UPS gave me access to pick this up myself, but I had to drive to the access point. Due to the pandemic situation, I have been at home everyday and not received a single phone call or buzz from the building security system. I believe the vendor for a $20 plant or UPS driver simply never bothered to call my phone from the door or use the security system. It is quite unusual for hundreds of Amazon deliveries to arrive at the same address at the same time.

Out of the box, which was very carefully packed, the plant is so glossy and green. Another thing worth noticing is that this one has exactly one gallon soil in the tub as opposed to the comparison. There have been many times when I ordered online plants which were represented as being one gallon but were actually much smaller than they appear. I am happy to support such a trustworthy product and company. The gardenia variety will most likely change in the future, and I will be willing to buy any variety that will be made available.

A pleasant surprise to find so many blooms and so much healthy growth. They made a spectacular display when set in a large urn with petunias and African short succulent daisies surrounding them! There was no loss of leaves or color as a result of planting on the beautiful and healthy foliage. I highly recommend this book.
