Questions & Answers

I'm not able to get a hold of the number that's given here and on the proven winners' website. Do you know of ?

When one that I ordered arrived dead, I contacted Amazon directly and they helped me with a refund. Several plants are offered by Proven Winners, a company on which the plants are based. Following that, the plants are sold by individual nurseries and growers.

Does anyone know what the hardiness zone of Massachusettes is? Thanks for sharing. ?

Welcome to Massachusetts! Massachusetts is divided into five zones If you are not sure what zone you are in, check the USDA Plant Hardiness Zone chart. For any other questions, you can reach us at our hotline (734) 654-7590 I wish you all the best,

Would you be able to plant this on your balcony in a pot? If I live in a skyscraper high up in the city, zone 6a, will this be able to survive outside?

Thank you for visiting Amazon.com, our Proven Winners Pink Chiffon Rose of Sharon will do nicely in zone 6a because it grows in zones 5 - 9. The tree can be planted in a container, but should be transplanted into the landscape when it has reached full maturity. When fully grown, this plant grows to an average height of 8 to 10 feet It grows to a height of 12 feet and gets to about 4 feet The plant can grow to be 6 feet wide, so keeping it in a container for too long will be challenging for it since it requires so much space. In case you decide to grow it in a container, be sure to pick a very large container to allow for it to thrive. We are open to any additional questions, so feel free to give us a call at (734) 654-2002 I appreciate it! I am Hailey

Is there a chance that Proven winners will make it ri if Elf the bleu chef on rose of Sharon is not blue, or if it is damaged, or if it has disease, or if it is the wrong plant?

There is no way for me to It is best to ask the vendor about this. Unfortunately, I did not receive any damage to my plant. It does not have any blooms right now. My concerns are unfounded since the plant is healthy and has new growth, but it is still too early for me to be concerned about it. Based on my experience, here is what I learned about the plant.

Plant of outstanding quality
5/5

It would be a good idea. On September 24, 2018, this took place It's one of the pinks In addition to air holes and corner cardboard insets to stabilize the plant, each gal. Rose of Sharon arrived in a tall, narrow box. In order to prevent the plant from sliding from the pot, the roots were wrapped in plastic and the stem was tied to the pot with a piece of string. A true picture of the bloom was seen on the bush itself. It was healthy, had more buds, and was in bloom. It is unusual to have blooms at this late date Despite the high quality of the potting mix, it was reasonably priced.

As you can see from the picture, you can see the box on the first day, and the condition of the plant. I have updated Flows like a flower. The picture of Bloom from October 9, 2018 has been The listing image closely resembles the real-life image.

My order was for a small plant
3/5

The one I received was not what The Blue Chiffon Rose of Sharon that I ordered in April last year came in blue. The plant was tiny when it arrived it was much smaller than expected, still dormant, and had The tree was planted in a sunny spot (but not a full sun one since I live in Southern California) and I regularly watered it, but it barely grew any leaves during the summer, and it had That is why I was so excited when the flower finally appeared. It wasn't until I noticed this wasn't the right flower that I realized it was the wrong one. As far as I can tell, this is not the Blue Chiffon Rose of Sharon that According to pictures on PW, it appears to be a more unusual species of Rose of Sharon. After reading the reviews, I found that others expressed frustration with the same mix-ups as me A solution does not seem to be on the table, which indicates a lack of interest on the part of the supplier It would be better if we would either rectify the listing to display the correct cultivar or improve quality management in deliveries to be sure to send the correct cultivar as ordered. It is now almost a year later and the plant is still growing at the same height it was when I first got it (it is still dormant). It will be interesting to see how things develop
I'd like to order the Purple Pillar Rose of Sharon this spring. However, after the quality issues with the PW last year, I'm hesitant to order it again.

Plant in good health
5/5

Having waited for 8 months to write this review, I'm writing it now. A couple of stems came with this plant when I purchased it in March 2017. Although I was a little concerned, I knew it would survive since I bought a lot of plants from Amazon and most of them survived quite well. It was breathtaking to see how many flowers this one bore. The plant was full of beautiful purple flowers. As a result of moving in July, I have been very busy. It was a very pleasant experience to deal I will be purchasing more varieties from this seller in the future. The plant was moved indoors in October, and after moving it started shedding all of its leaves, so today it is again with just a few stems. Looking forward to seeing how long it will take to turn I'll update in a few days.

Your money is worth more than that! Here's an update
3/5

Last summer, three of the four new plants took off growing like crazy, and they looked great. Only one of the four shows any sign of budding this year. One looked pitiful, but was still alive. There are three others that It is really annoying because I want the plant so much! My husband and I purchased several of these over the past two years, this size and the big size. I ended up purchasing three of them all. A lot of hard work has gone into it. It's hard to count how many I've had, but they were all replaced by the company since they don't At the end of the summer season, I had two that are doing great and another one that is dead. As they look great when they're doing well, I'd really like to get one in the same location as the dead one. My plans aren't clear yet. I'm not sure if I'll mess with another. Illinois is in the heart of the nation. It ought to be ok for some, but I don't know why some don't.

It was nice to receive a flower in my favorite color
3/5

While I love the color of the flower that was provided, the flower I received was not a chiffon bloom, however the color was the same as the picture. On the plant I received, the blooms were simply the regular rose of Sharon Flower, and not the frilly "double bloom" that came with In the attached image you can see how different the flowers are.

Plants of this variety are messy and don't all survive
3/5

Last year, we bought three rose of Sharon plants for our yard. Despite the fact that they arrived bent and messy, they also looked rather wilted in their boxes. Despite planting regardless, we watered consistently to see if they would take hold in the yard. They did for a while, but then they went dormant. Even though the winter there was quite mild, only two of the three plants we purchased in winter The company told me there was only a 30 days guarantee attached to amazon, so there was nothing they could do about my dead plant. So, I contacted them to inquire about an exchange or at the very least learn what we could do with a dormant/dead It is evident that the plants have a variable lifespan and durability, even though their blooms are beautiful. Please contact the ecommerce group rather than the company directly to check if they can help). The only thing left to do is dig up the dead plant and decide if I want to buy a single, and hope I don't waste.

It is a wonderful experience working with your company
4/5

This beautiful plant has been in my shopping cart for about a year now, so I just recently decided to splurge and purchase it. After receipt, it was placed sideways outside of my door (even with a written 'This side up' on it. It's an error! 2) I was surprised how little the plant was it looked pretty healthy, but still, small, compared to the description and pictures that are included. Though I realize that I ordered during a dormant period, I expected a larger plant as I ordered during a dormant period. Repotted it as soon as I could. It was Proven Winners who responded promptly to my inquiries, and they were extremely helpful and supportive. My replacement will be sent soon, and I will provide the new plant review once it is received. I give four stars for the customer service. Thanks!.

Out of the box, this is stunning! was a little hesitant about ordering this from Amazon, but I must say, I was very pleasantly surprised
5/5

Proven Winners has Rose of Sharons at my local garden shops, but I chose a pink chiffon variety because they were all out of the one I was interested in buying. So I took a chance and ordered it anyway, but it was far from what I was expecting. I received a beautiful, healthy plant that is full of flowers and buds. My wife and I are extremely Today I will give it a rest and tomorrow I will plant it. If you're hesitant to order online, I would strongly suggest taking the chance, since it was about 20 times larger than the 6-pack This product is 18" tall as reported in the descriptions and was shipped in a tall upright box. Would like to order more as soon as possible!.
