A healthy plant, but it is very Costa Farms disappointment leaves me very disappointed, and it is unlikely I will purchase from them in the future. I was very impressed with how well packaged the plant arrived and how healthy it was. Although still not as long as 12 inches, it is still a bit short. Could you please clarify whether or not the pot is included in that measurement? with the pot included, I would imagine that the plant is not close to 12 inches tall. What do they measure? I guess they measure something like my ex? I received a plant that had only a few stems, not the full pot of stems like the one shown on the company's

In terms of the pot, there are no drainage holes, which are very important for almost all plants. Since the pot cannot be reused for other plants in the future, I cannot reuse it.

I'm keeping the plant since returns are so frustrating, but if you are looking for a Raven ZZ, I'd suggest going somewhere else for a better plant value. The plant was rotting and infested. The customer service was also bad. A wet package arrived at the door. The roots of zz plants don't do well with a lot of water, so I was concerned about them. There was a large patch of pest eggs (see picture) on the roots, and I thought they were starting to rot when I took the plant out of the pot. It also looked like the leaves had been bitten by mites at the base. In an email I sent Costa Farms with the pictures, along with their packing slip to contact them first rather than It has been a few days since there has been any radio communication. The conclusion is The plant was rotten and infested, and the customer service was poor.

Things turned out well in the end. It is ironic that the damaged plants have come back and are flourishing! There hasn't been any activity yet on the new one, but we'll have to wait until spring to see how it stands up. This has been a very disappointing experience for me. The leaves are damaged, ripped and shriveled, with black spots or From very high sources also, a lot of HUGE roots are growing. The pictures were exactly what I ordered and the item is SO lopsided and clearly was never rearranged for lighting, it looks NOTHING like the pictures and you're just stuck with the cost because I'm not able to return it. I am disappointed. I would not recommend this company for customer service! Costa farms has delivered many plants to me, so I guess customer loyalty doesn't matter to them.

In order to provide future buyers with a reference for this plant I wanted to share my experience with it In case it was a fluke, I'd like to know! There are a lot of plants I bought from Costa farms (I have a LOT) and I have never experienced any problems before. As soon as the Raven ZZ arrived, it was immediately apparent that this was not the same The first time I encountered a Thrips was my first time in contact with them. Since they are so small, it is almost impossible to tell they are there until they move or bite, but I found a few on the outside of the pot and on my arms after In the last picture, you can see that there were several insects in the area, but I was able to isolate one and zoom in so the picture is not too distorted. Because I have a lot of plants that I've recently repotted, I was obligated to take immediate action to prevent the infestation spreading, so I did so (after drilling a drainage hole) of repotting the plant from its nursery pot to the white ceramic pot. Despite appearing to have no visible insect damage, the plant was much more robust than the container it came in, as well as outgrowing the pot it came in. There are various pots with the plant I received so I can separate them into a few. Colour and growth of the leaves looked healthy and the leaves appeared to be in good condition. It is the first picture I posted that shows it immediately after it was taken out of the plastic box, the second picture shows it after it had been reassembled The second step involves potting the roots into the nursery pot, and the third is placing the roots in the bottom of the pot. The plants are generally able to recover rapidly after repotting, so I was not terribly concerned about the plants being root bound.
