Questions & Answers
They're plants that float. Simply submerge them in water (roots down). lol). If there is a current, it is possible that the flow will move them around until they find a 'home.'
It is, after all, a floater. a lot of light is required
I tossed them in my pond, and the plants self-righted in the water and began to bloom within a few days—easy peasy.
Although plants float, fish such as Koi will eat them at their roots.

Water Hyacinths are a stunning example of Mother Nature's (or God's, or both, depending on your religious beliefs [heh]) handiwork. Because I live in a northern state (Michigan), these will not survive the winter, so I must purchase them every year. It appears that no matter what size they are at the start of the season, they will take approximately 8-hours to complete. It takes ten weeks to establish yourself. When they've taken- off, take a look- out! They'll get out of hand quickly. By August, I'm sure I'll be removing more, larger plants every few days or weeks than I did when I first bought them - I just want to be able to see my fish! Maybe one of these years I'll figure out a way to keep them inside for the winter. Water Hyacinths produce stunning lavender blooms in a lush, tropical-like environment. look at the foliage They almost ensure that your pond will look like something out of a magazine. I can't think of anyone who wouldn't enjoy having these in their pond. br>br>Note: If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "creative Even though the seller did an excellent job (my first review was rejected), Amazon apparently does not allow comments on the seller in these reviews. It seems strange to give a rating to a 'product' that was not created by anyone (except God/Mother). Nature). It's more like a service when buying plants like this, where the product experience is really about how well the seller selects, handles, and delivers the product - Because the product isn't really something anyone makes, that's what should be reviewed/rated. As a result, anyone who gives these less than 5 stars is actually criticizing the seller, because it would be incredibly arrogant to rate God's/Mother-in-Law's work. It's not as if it's not a natural product.
However, a couple of Mallard Ducks discovered my pond and feasted on the hyacinth! I attempted to conceal the hyacinth among the lily pads in the water. They, on the other hand, went out of their way to locate them. The floating hyacinth, water lettuce, and duck weed were all favorites! But we win because we're having a good time watching the Mallards and their antics! Next year, maybe. 😉.
Each of the 12 plants appeared to be in good health, with a main plant and a few offshoots/buds growing from it. The roots were trimmed back as usual, but they appear to be in good health, so I'm concerned. They were also quick to arrive. Swampland Wholesale was the vendor.
This afternoon, I got my water hyacinths. They're in wonderful shape. The leaves were in good condition, though one or two were a little battered, but that's to be expected from a water plant that's been in a box for a few days. The roots and leaves were kept moist, resulting in healthy growth. I immediately took them out of their box and dumped them in my pond. I could almost hear them exhale a sigh of relief at being back in the water. They appear to be in good health, and I'm excited to see how they bloom.
Water Hyacinth does not survive the winter months where I live in northern latitudes. I ordered these, they arrived on time, I put them in my pond, and they all flew away. No one was hurt, and they all made it out alive. Within two weeks, they began to flower. Weeks after their arrival, they've spread out beautifully, just like Water Hyacinth. This was an excellent purchase, and I plan to make another in the spring.
Water hyacinths came in a big bunch for me. They were all half-dead at this point. The good news is that I was able to save a few of them, and they are now doing well and healthy. br>Another thing to keep in mind is that I had no idea that the roots resembled a dead bird until I opened the package, which gave me quite a scare.
Plants that are in good health. I was pleasantly surprised by the number and size of them. I would place another order with you.
What I received as a gift blew me away. br>br>The plants were shipped from New Jersey to Michigan, and I was surprised to see only a few brown leaves when they arrived. br>br>Instead of three plants, I received five, which was a pleasant surprise. br>br>I stuffed them all into a 10 gallon and a 5 gallon aquarium, and they took up the majority of the space. When it comes to saying the seller made them happy, Batman and Bruce Wayne are on the same page.
