I got nothing but glass filler in the package. I had them crushed into powder so that I could inlay them in wood. I have no use for this product. Look elsewhere if you're looking for genuine minerals. These will totally suffice if you're looking for some pretty, decorative filler. Until they're crushed, they resemble what you'd get out of a rock tumbler.

) br>br>Avoid using these rocks/chips as a succulent top dressing! I purchased this item to use with my Haworthia. It prevents moisture from evaporating from the soil and ensures that your succulent retains all of the water you've given it. Even if you have a particularly well-draining soul (I use Bonsai Jack gritty mix). ) My Haworthia is dying four days after I put these rocks on him, and I've already had to pluck mushy dying leaves. I'll be removing the rocks and hoping he dries out and survives, but I hope this information is useful to anyone looking to buy these for succulents. The first photo was taken the day I placed the rocks on him, and the second photo was taken four days later (after I removed the inner rotting leaves, though you can see that the outer ones are still struggling). ) I should also point out that I did not water him when I added the rocks, and his last watering was more than a week before I added the top dressing, in case anyone thinks it's just a case of overwatering.

They spread out on a plant more quickly than I expected, are very attractive, and I expect they will help keep bugs out of my potted plants. I deducted one star due to the small size of the bag for the price; I know they provide weight, but it's still unclear what that means due to density. I'd love to see a photo of the actual size bag you get, along with a common object like a coin or a dollar bill for scale. Aside from that one issue, I'm very pleased, and I've only used half a bag for three plants so far. They are about 4-inches tall. A diameter of 6 inches. They definitely give your plants a cleaner, more polished look, as you can see in the photo of the half-finished pot.
Edit: I wouldn't recommend these for succulents on September 16th, 2019. They prevent moisture from evaporating and keep succulents excessively moist. Mine began to fade away. I believe they are ideal for retaining moisture or keeping bugs out.

These gemstone chips were chosen for a chakra project I was working on, and while they were all beautifully polished (tumbled) stones, they were a little larger than my definition of 'chips. ' Even so, they're still very pretty, and I'm content with the slightly larger size, which is closer to 1/8th of an inch. Only a few stones were clear, but the coloring was uniform. This seller has a pound that I would buy!.

There was once a clambake hotspot here. Rather than gravel, clam shell bits were used to line the parking lot. It looked cool, but the pieces were a little jagged, and I always imagined falling on your face in that parking lot would be a nightmare. That's exactly what I was hoping for - shards of broken glass That, however, was not the case. These are rounded, gleaming, and lovely. When I play with them, I get a strange tactile pleasure as well! They're perfectly irregular, and they went perfectly with the planter I already owned. I won't hesitate to reorder if I require more.

I put these to the test and found them to be of excellent quality. They actually exist. There are no dyes used in the production of this product. They're great for Spell Jars, candy toppers, altar work, resin crafts, jewelry, and decorating, among other things. I use them for all of the above and more! Shapes and sizes that are unusual. For jewelry projects, many of them can be drilled. This bag has a good mix of different stone types. I'm very pleased with these and plan to use them for a variety of purposes, including gifts we're making and spell jars. I highly recommend this product and will be purchasing more in the future!.

Because the vendor described the stones as "crushed," I was hesitant to buy them. I inquired as to whether or not this was true. I bought the Tigers Eye chips after receiving a helpful response from a friendly customer. They arrived today, and they are not only lovely but also quite substantial. Mine will be used in succulent arrangements because tigers eye shimmers beautifully when the sun shines on it. br>Thank you to both the customer and the vendor who responded. I imagine them as stone chips left over from larger projects that have been tumbled until smooth and lustrous.
