Questions & Answers
Certainly not with what comes with the stone alone. I've had it for a few weeks at the cemetery. The picture was damp when I went to see it after it had been placed. I did, however, copy the image, keep the small square insert, and simply change the image. They DO recommend laminating the photo, so this is entirely my fault; I didn't have one on hand and had to rush to put it in the cemetery. Long answer, short: laminating is preferable, as they advise. I'm sending you my condolences. I hope you purchase this and find it to be reassuring.
I believe it was a 4x6 photograph; I had a larger photograph that I simply cropped.
Hello - Thank you for contacting us with your inquiry! The full statement on the stone is "Not a day goes by that you are not missed." It has a photo holder, but it does not say "grandpa."
Hello there - Thank you for contacting us with your inquiry - The photo can be inserted into a slot on the stone. I hope this information is useful!

This is a lovely tribute to a departed loved one. The words are exactly what I needed to hear right now. This frame was purchased to be placed at the gravesite of my stepfather. Dad. To combat the effects of the weather, I laminated his photo. proofing. I also applied a bead of silicone sealer to the area where the photograph will be placed in the frame. So far, the photo has held up beautifully, but I would strongly advise laminating and using silicone as a precaution. The only "problem" I have with this frame is that it does not accommodate a standard-sized photograph. To fit, slightly crop your 4" X 6" photo. Aside from that, this stepping stone was ideal for assisting my family in their grief over the loss of a special loved one.
This purchase has given me a lot of joy. br>The material is thick and durable. This item can be hung if desired. But I'm going to add my photo and place it outside in the cemetery. br>I'm not sure how long a photo will last outside in the weather/sun, so I'm going to laminate mine first. br>br>I put a photo next to an 8 inch plate to give you an idea of the size. br>I think it's quite large. br>The horizontal photo size would be slightly less than 4x6. I'm simply reducing the size of my 4x6. br>The attention to detail is outstanding. Hopefully, it will stand up to the elements outside.
We placed the stone on a cross for our son's grave until a headstone could be found. The photo was laminated and silicone was applied around it to protect it from water, as suggested by others. Dew and rain would have gotten in otherwise, I'm sure.
It's well-made. I did, however, apply a bead of silicone to the photo's edge. It should last a long time, in my opinion.
We purchased it to commemorate our loved one's resting place until her stone is installed in the spring. It was extremely enjoyable for all of us. It's quite heavy, so I expect it to stay put.
This item was cute and made a nice addition to my grandfather's grave, but the plastic that covers the picture allows water, dirt, and other things to get in and ruin it. Before putting my picture in, I used water resistant mod podge all over it, and it seemed to work fine.
This is in my mom's memorial garden, and I really like it.
