For the past three years, we've had two of them outside in our gardens. We don't walk on the glass, so it needs to be replaced every now and then. Just for the sake of appearances.
I'm guessing yes. We followed the instructions to the letter, and the concrete was thicker than I had anticipated. In the directions for the kit we bought, it says when it's time to make an impression at each step.
2 cups water, simply stirred in Smooth the surface after pouring into the mold. And place the stained glass on top of that. That is all there is to it.br>

I spent a lot of time getting ready for this - I divided the colors into separate plastic bags after sorting them on a baking tray. The entire procedure was simple to carry out, but it took a little longer than expected; however, it was enjoyable for me. I wasn't crazy about the colors, but they were mostly accurate to what was on the box. For the design that I selected from their three options, I would have preferred a lot more blue. Also, because the templates are back to back, you'll need to copy the design to another piece of paper before cutting out your chosen template if you plan to use another one later when creating your own kit. The cement wasn't quite leveled as well as it should have been, and one side is a little thin. I'm not sure how long it'll last, but I'm going to make the most of it while I can. When I do the next one, I'll push the glass a little deeper into the cement to make everything lay flatter.
I couldn't find a memorial stone for my mother to place in her garden in honor of my father, so I decided to make one myself. I created my own stencil but used the rest of the kit's materials. When pouring the concrete into the mold and smoothing it out, you'll need to jiggle it around (gently) for about ten minutes to get all the air bubbles out. There were plenty of glass pieces for my design, though none of the white pieces shown in the product photos were included. I removed the glass from the mold two days later after brushing the concrete off. It was simple to remove the mold. It appears to be long-lasting, and completing the project was simple.
What glass colors you get is truly luck of the draw, but I added a few of my own materials and the project came out beautifully!.
Enjoyed a fun activity with my 5-year-old son that was simple to do and yielded a cute result:.
To make it easier to remove the stone mix, I lightly greased my mold. The pattern was not included in the box, which had a crane design on the front. I created my own pattern, which turned out so well that I purchased a second kit.
My daughter turned six months old recently, and we wanted to make stepping stones for the garden. In this, we included a hand and foot print. My plan is to repeat the process with her in a year's time, and so on. This stepping stone is simple to put together, inexpensive, and you can personalize it with your own design. It's fantastic, and I'm going to order more of it!.
First, they're the perfect size; second, they include all of the necessary instructions, and they're incredibly simple to put together! They dry quickly and look fantastic when they're out in the open!.
So far, everything has gone well. The instructions are straightforward and straightforward. I made a stepping stone for my child out of this. I was very pleased with my purchase because of how simple it was to use. I also enjoy the fact that I can reuse the plastic holders to make more stones.
