They were not as practical as I would have liked in terms of making terrariums. Mostly because the openings are so small, so it was hard to fit in things. Furthermore, because the opening extends only a little distance from the soil surface, rooting plants in soil is also not ideal. The air holes on the top of these are not as large as other ones, so I wouldn't have the ability to insert plants through them. Also, these do not have any holes at the bottom like other ones. We have now been in town for 3 weeks). There is no doubt that this was the best value product I could find on Amazon with the most variety/shapes!.
It was a risk I took, and I am glad I took it. There is no need for these to be so These three shapes differ in size and shape. Taking up 7 and a half inches of space, the teardrop is the tallest. A 6 inch girl and a 5 and a half inch boy are both in the middle. On each of the three, the opening is about 2 inches across. It was easy for me to fit my plants into It's easier for me to put them backwards and arrange them once inside. * A good quality glass is used and it's You can hang each piece if you wish using a piece of string that comes with it. They are exactly what I was looking for. that annoyed me was that they ship in a Styrofoam container. Other than that, I'm very happy with these!.
It was hung with a coat rack my husband made a number of years ago. What I have displayed is fine to me. Due to the delay in arrival of my plants, I am lacking air plants for now.
I'm going to use them for my new airplants. These are so beautiful. You have to be careful though, they tend to break easily. Since I'm clumsy, I broke 3 of the pieces Although I am to blame, the product isn't to blame. This is a product I would buy I may have to do it.
I am very impressed with the quality and condition of the glass (about ) with plenty of ventilation in the same shipment that also arrived very happily. I think it's worth the time When buying a variety, it is recommended to research the strains more so some strains retain more water and prefer that they are misted occasionally instead of being soaked.
plant (2 in thick) would fit comfortably in the largest of these holders and probably not with sand. That's my fault for not reading the specs more carefully, but I assumed air plants would be in them because they are shown with them. The challenge to you is to find three air plants that are But if you are going to do this, won't you be hoping that they will I was disappointed because they appeared decent quality, if a little delicate, and were easy to hang, but I was really unable to use them.
They aren't as good as I thought they would be, but I didn't regret buying them. The glasses are extremely thin, and I believe I will break one of them at some point. There's a lot of delicate tissue in them. As well as the visible rippling in parts of the glass, I don't think it bothers me, but others might be bothered. Since the glass hook isn't a full loop, thin string can slip out and cause these to fall. They came with some twine for hanging, which I did not use, but thick string might be a good idea since the glass hook isn't an open loop. I think the packaging was good, all the items were completely encased in Styrofoam.
There was another box containing several of these items packaged in stirofoam with cutouts for the globes, then taped, then encased with cellophane, then boxed. This seemed so fragile to me that I envisioned them breaking, but it was impossible to do so based on the way the items were packaged. A great deal of respect goes to the seller who took so many steps to ensure the safety of the package. Let's give it a 10 out of 10. I am in love with.
