It has fine lines but looks blotchy at 8" and is only OK at smaller sizes. There is a lot to be said about the MCM styling of this pot stand. In addition, unlike other adjustable wood stands, the stand is less stable when it is extended in size since the adjustability is quite obvious. I received a stand that has a couple of defects in the finish. The finish is blotchy all over.
I gave the product 4 stars in light of the price after coupon, although it is only worth 3 stars.
