They are very nice plant saucers and I'm happy with them. Water can be well held in them because they are sturdy and thick, yet they have a little give. In addition, I purchased these because the description said they were manufactured from polypropylene, which I consider to be a safe plastic. After researching, I found these saucers which prevent water loss (and nutrient loss). This is my first year using Grow bags and they are quite porous so I'm losing a lot of water. The water takes up to 24 hours to become absorbed in my pots, but they work great for keeping moisture in them. I'm very happy with how my tomatoes turned out.
