Thank you for your interest in our product. Yes, these are both from our Tioman Outdoor series. Made from dark red Meranti wood from Malaysia, which has been treated with teak oil.
A 15" square is the outside dimension. 13 3/4" square on the inside
Without making a minor change to the corner planter, that is. On two opposing sides, the planters are designed to hold the bench. The bench does not fit on the other sides because they are slightly different. For the bench to fit, you'll need to cut a small notch in the planter, but it's a simple process that doesn't jeopardize the planter's or bench's structural integrity.
I'm not sure what the limit is, but my husband and son are allowed to sit together. One is 175 pounds and the other is 150 pounds. One is 185 pounds, and the other is 150 pounds. The bench is well-made and does not sag. I hope this information is useful.

I wanted to create a space for my family to gather and reflect on the wonderful times we'd shared. The only drawback I found was the lack of planter inserts, which is odd given that the planters are supposed to hold foilage, which they can't because they have no bottom and slatted sides. However, after some searching, I was able to find plastic ones that fit perfectly at Lowes. They were short in height, but I raised them to be level with the wooden planters by using 1212 concrete pavers.
Gorgeous! I admit that I enjoy putting things together, and it took me about 20 minutes to complete this project by myself, from unboxing to completion. br>br>The bench is well-made and attractive. I am a 5'5" 150 pound woman, and the bench comfortably accommodates me. Even though the wood appears to be in good condition out of the box, I believe that applying a stain or wood coating will help it last longer. Will it last forever? No, but with proper care and a good protective stain, you should be able to get a lot of use out of it. br>br>There are no bottoms on the planter boxes. I don't mind because I was able to place large 2 gallon shrubs in grower containers directly into the planter boxes, and the plastic containers were well hidden.

This is a simple to put together, sturdy, and attractive addition to any deck or patio. The instructions were simple to follow and were made of hard wood from Asia. It took me about 30 minutes to put this together. The price was on the lower end of my expectations, but that doesn't mean it's cheap; it's just affordable, and I'd buy more if I had the space.
The parts used are the best you can get for any home project, the assembly is simple, and the planter's sturdiness will astound you.
