They are sturdy and will not rust. The strips were also used to hold down Christmas lawn decorations, but I ran out so I had to order As you hit something they cannot penetrate (like a rock), they bend when they only seem to be able to penetrate a sharp point. As I discovered when hammering them into a cement footing that was unknown to me, they can even be bent back into a usable shape. My entire fleet of them was out during rainstorms for several months without showing signs of rust. I might add, the price was also reasonable.
I did not need to bend or tweak them during installation. I installed a different brand two years ago which have rusted and are probably going to be worthless in five In order to make SuperMMarK staples, either stainless steel or a plated steel is used. *Comparing the price with others, it was quite low.
This is the landscape staple I use most often, but they are a bit heavier duty than others I've used before. I didn't want to pay this much for them, but there weren't any other options, so I gave them a star for value. It may still take me a while to get the hang of where they fit, but so far they seem to last a long time, and they didn't bend or twist while I was using I won't go into too much more detail.
My order arrived quickly and was exactly what I was looking for. The ground must not be too thick for them to bend. Some of the money did go to waste. Rust is another problem with them. After a light drizzle one afternoon, a few parts of them began to rust when I went back to finish working in the yard the next day. But they did their job, they are covered with mulch and rocks, and they held landscape fabric.
You can easily push these through cloth and they're very sturdy. They're longer than anchors and staples that you would find at garden centers. If they were flimsy like the ones you usually see, I would never use them again Some of our leftover weed cloth will be passed on to our daughter, as will these and other things She should order more so that she'll have enough for her entire project. I wholeheartedly advise her to order.
With these, I can put together a quick and easy greenhouse to plant vegetables before the spring weather really starts to warm up. Even with our rocky ground, the stakes are strong, went in easily, and were exactly what I was looking for. This is the best of the best!.
Buy the budget brand if you don't want to spend too much. What a great idea!.
This was used to keep erosion control mats in place while I put them on a hill. Their structural integrity seems to be lacking and they are very easily bent. The soil in NW Arkansas is really tough, so it may be better to plant there where the soil is more tolerant. When I pushed them at an angle, I discovered they were easier and less prone to.
