If they were taller, it would be better. The plants had grown too big for these, so we had to pull them over after a storm.
Four feet is the length of the stakes.
It doesn't matter how high the stakes are. Vining plants, such as a summer squash, can be grown upright using mine.
There is a solid fiberglass core in each of them. Metal is not a good choice.

This is quality! This is quality! This is quality! The flat top side is used for inserting into the ground. The pointed end is used to stick into the ground. My tomatoes, peas, and cucumbers are stored in this container. The cone flowers will not fall over since the base prevents them from falling. This is what makes it so great. Those can be reused again and again every single Purchasing this item was a good decision.
Our previous set failed to last long, so this year we bought another one to replace it, and the quality is still very good so far!.
With these stakes and their stake arms, I can have a modular and flexible support system for my container garden, hence I look forward to harvesting my best ever corn crop.
Interestingly, the top and pointed bottom of the cups are made of plastic, but otherwise the cups are metal. Plastic skin surrounds the ends, which prevents them from rusting. There are small ribs all over the outside, capturing them so they don't fall off. There is no question that these are strong and I expect them to last for a long time. This is definitely a product I would recommend.
Plant tomatoes in these if you want them to grow to the maximum length.
For attachments, a size of the right size is necessary. In case anyone is wondering, these stakes are fantastic as others have noted, and I am reviewing to add that these stakes are compatible with the attachments that get sold to go along with stakes that are this diameter. Several other brands I ordered claim to fit, but are much thinner and so do not provide the same results as the FIDO products. A pair of these is the right size. It allows me to create trellises, fences or barriers for plants, a garden fabric support, or to quickly assemble a structure I need for only an overnight (like a frost blanket), which I will take apart the next day and use for other things. the plant grows, I can add to or even change the configuration of the support. The price is so much less than the same item that I'd find in a store. Additionally, the attachments are sold by the same brand as well as.
A pointed and a flat end makes installation easier, so these stakes have one pointed and one flat end. As a result of an error in the previous purchase, I had ordered stakes with points on both ends, which struggled to go I don't agree with those who say the double ends are a good thing. This worked much better than the previous options and I highly.
The stakes with wood hollow cores are better than those with metal hollow cores. Taking out roots without tarring them up is easy with the sharp tip. Designed with bumps that can more easily grasp ties. I have the capability of drilling I don't have to worry about cleaning.
