I'm looking for connecting poles, but I can't seem to find them anywhere. ?

The poles can be found in almost any hardware store. If you're planning to build a large tent, look in the fencing or electrical sections because the canopy tent section may be more expensive. If you're planning to build a large tent, you may want to get the thicker pipe.

Do I need to use 1" emt conduit for the poles?

If your conduit's outer dimension is 1 ", it might fit.

These were exactly what I needed, they fit perfectly, and I used rivets to secure them to the 10' metal posts. This product was discovered on Amazon, and I am very pleased with it. The metal frame was then covered with a tarp.

I was unable to ship even one carport to Hawaii. Thank you, Amazon. After some next level noise of grinding the poles to custom size - I went to Home Depot and bought 20 galvanized fence posts (the 10 foot top segments) _ I got the bulk price. I had a substantial carport. br>br>They are large and sturdy - They appear to flange a degree or two wider than I would have preferred (the legs are not at all vertical), but I'm sure they'd fit if you had a small footprint.

It's my first time building a shelter of this nature. So far, it appears to be well-made. I made them out of 1 3/8 top rail for chain link fence that I bought locally. I'm experimenting with various setups. The freight forwarder (FED EX) is difficult to work with. They've left half of one order on a dirt road (where rural mail boxes are located) a mile away. They still have the other half of my most recent order in their possession. According to FED EX communication, it could take up to a week for me to receive it.

It was necessary to upgrade. Bolts were inserted into the drilled holes in the fram and pipe to keep them in place. After upgrades and modifications, the product has become extremely durable.
