It does not, in fact. It's just a cover with rod sleeve. Simple curtain rods or even inexpensive metal pipe from a hardware store can be used. Another option is to use a PVC pipe with end caps and fill it with sand/water.

Given that it was only $100, I was concerned that the quality would be subpar. So, there's some good news - It's a lovely product that appears to be as durable as the original. Because I didn't use the ties, I can't comment on that. We filled the slots on each end of the poles with sand, which improves the appearance and eliminates any wind issues mentioned by other reviewers.
It's too early to tell if the canopy top will keep its color because I only put it up three weeks ago. However, it is a perfect fit for my pergola and looks stunning. It maintains the cleanliness and dryness of my outdoor furniture. There are ties on the corners to secure the pergola posts, but I'm not sure they'll hold up against strong and gusty winds during thunderstorms. I inserted sand-filled poles (which did not come with the cover - see below) into the narrow pockets on the cover's ends. I inserted sand (which came with the original pergola and which I purchased separately) into the poles to weigh the cover down in high winds. This has so far proven to be successful. My four- If the cover resists tears and stays put in high winds and summer thunderstorms over time, it will earn a five-star rating. The color and the lack of a center seam are both appealing to me. br>The cover is made up of one piece and has excellent grommets. Much better than the original cover,br>in my opinion. It allows for air and rain to pass through while also providing excellent shade.
This product is very nice; however, it is about 4 inches shorter on the sides than the ones that came with it, and it was advertised as a replacement for my cover; however, I have two of these together, and it lets light in the middle, requiring us to move our chairs.
I previously had an issue with receiving the wrong size item, but their Customer Service quickly rectified the situation and promptly sent me the correct item. The canopy is well-made and meets the advertised specifications.
It's a nice product, and it's well-made. It's a four-star rating because it's half the thickness of the original and, despite being supported by metal poles, it lifts like a parachute in the wind.
The content appeals to me. It's a great alternative to our pergola awning.
it had grommets for attaching cords to the pergola, but because of the outdoor rug, which we had to drag out to the sun to dry I've returned this piece of furniture that was beneath it. The same vendor was used to order a waterproof cover.
