It was an excellent purchase. In 4 hours, 2 people can put this together. It has a fantastic appearance and is extremely durable.
br>br>In terms of assembly, the pergola's base was incredibly easy (and light) to put together and stand up—my husband and I finished it in under an hour. The slats were a little more difficult to figure out at first, but once we did, it was a breeze; Just repetitive and monotonous (I'm not sure we would have figured it out if it hadn't been for another reviewer pointing out the QR code—thank goodness there was a video for the slats! We put this together ourselves in about 5 minutes. It took me about 5 hours to put this together in total. br>br>I should also mention that the assembled product is still relatively light, so we'll be bolting it to concrete (boots provided) just to be safe! Furthermore, the finish on these appears to be scratch-resistant. When assembled, it's not particularly visible, but it's best to do so on grass or other non-slip surfaces. surface that is abrasive.
The rain feature is my favorite part of the game. When you open the pergola after it has rained, the water travels through the drain and through the columns, eventually exiting at the base of the columns.
Thankfully, none of the components were missing. With 5 people, it took us about 5 hours to put it together. My only complaint is that the instruction manual was difficult to understand. They did, however, have a QR code for an assembly video, which was very helpful visually. I'm pleased with our new pergola in general!.
This pergola on the patio is incredible! We had a great experience with their customer service from the seller with questions we had, and it's given us another incredible living space outside. br>br>It took us about 5 hours to put together, but it was well worth the effort! br>br>It's also solid, sturdy, and well-built; we felt we got our money's worth. We also had a storm last night with 55 MPH winds, and it didn't move because we hadn't bolted it to the cement. br>br>The only thing I didn't realize was that the instructions didn't say to loosen the gold brackets that the top slides into. We could have saved about an hour if we had done that. Also, rather than using the link in the instructions, we recommend using YouTube to view the instructions because it is much faster. br>br>Excellent product that you will enjoy!.
Very good quality! It arrived in three weeks. Installation is fairly simple (just follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer). There were no missing pieces (in fact, one extra louver was included). The louvered adjustable roof is one of our favorite features. The sun and rain are shielded by this pergola! In person, the color does not appear to be as dark; It's a deep chalk gray, in my opinion. We finally decided on a pergola after a long search, and we're glad we did!.
This is an incredible pergola! It has a lovely appearance, and the louvers are very practical. I was apprehensive about making such a large purchase, but I am glad I did. I will say that it comes in five separate boxes, each weighing around 150 pounds, that are delivered on a semi and unloaded by one poor guy, so make sure someone is present to assist with the unloading. It took approximately six hours to complete. With three people, it took 7 hours to put together. It was also secured to the concrete by my husband. He did end up buying better concrete bolts because he didn't like the ones that came with it (he's very meticulous in his assembly lol). I don't recall the exact dimensions of our patio, but it's around 19ish feet by 19ish feet. The pergola was a little too long, so two of the beams rest on concrete pavers, but we expected that because our patio is smaller than the pergola's dimensions. In addition, their customer service is excellent. They quickly replaced a few of the horizontal beams and louvers that had been damaged during shipping. We put this together about two months ago, and it has held up beautifully in the rain and storms since then! Between the louvers, rain does not leak. The water is directed to the beams by downspouts. Overall, I am pleased with this purchase and would make the same decision again if we ever moved.
I'm about halfway through putting this Gazebo together; so far, it's taken me about 8 hours spread out over three days. Certainly, a younger person, or a group of people, would have completed this by now, but I'm working on it early in the day, mostly by myself, before it gets too hot outside, though I did have two other people assist me in standing each completed side up and connecting them with the cross beams. br>br>Take a look at the video of the assembly! Even though the instructions booklet isn't difficult to follow, it will be extremely useful when it comes time to assemble the gazebo. The video is also available on YouTube in a different version. Make sure the gold colored keys are loose enough to allow all of the legs to slide into the frame. Finally, assembling the end caps on each louver is a pain, but I discovered that dipping each screw in some 3in1 oil helps drive the screws in without them wanting to cam out. br>br>The only complaint I have is that one of the pieces was broken when it arrived, which I believe happened during shipping. I've already contacted the seller, and a replacement part will be delivered shortly. Fortunately, the broken part is one of the last pieces I need to complete the gazebo, so it can be used in the meantime. br>br>Also, have help on the day this is delivered, as the five boxes are large and heavy (over 10' long and weighing over 100 lbs). Don't expect much assistance from the delivery driver. My driver, who stood 5 feet tall and had a 4 foot diameter, was incapable of moving these boxes. Fortunately, my 22-year-old son and I were able to unload everything. br>br>Overall, I would highly recommend this gazebo. It looks fantastic, the assembly isn't too difficult, and the customer service has been excellent. The way each louver interlocks with the next to create a dry roof, as well as how rainwater is channeled off the louvers and down the legs, is quite ingenious. This is a well-made product that should last a long time.
