To hold everything in place, yes, it does a great job
As long as the ground remains soft enough to pound it in and as long as there is a height that is greater than how much mulch is used, then yes.

My pleasure. I would have purchased quite a few more had the price not jumped up from $25 to $35 in such a short period of time. The price point of another similar product was higher and therefore I had to choose another.
Having looked at several metal edgings, I thought I had ordered 8" high, but I ended up with a little over 6". It still works well, since I can run my weed eater down the metal and the flower bed no longer has grass in it. I used an axe to cut a deep trench into the ground and then stood the edging in it. The ease of installation is a little harder as I have a lot of rocks. I love how it works.
A problem with this product was that it was difficult to hammer into the ground.
Despite all that's going on, this still holds up Great job, I love.
It worked great for a concrete form around my well to build a top.
