Before you install the cylinder, be sure the soil is wet. The edging should be tapped into the ground with a rubber mallet to help it bury and level itself. You may need to spread the soil along the desired path with a trenching shovel if your soil is hard or rocky.

My pleasure. I would have purchased quite a few more had the price not jumped up from $25 to $35 in such a short period of time. The price point of another similar product was higher and therefore I had to choose another.

An edge made of metal

Having looked at several metal edgings, I thought I had ordered 8" high, but I ended up with a little over 6". It still works well, since I can run my weed eater down the metal and the flower bed no longer has grass in it. I used an axe to cut a deep trench into the ground and then stood the edging in it. The ease of installation is a little harder as I have a lot of rocks. I love how it works.
