Questions & Answers

Does this need to be hammered down completely into the soil? In order to create a barrier between our lawn and our neighbor's lawn, we plan to install a fence. ?

In some cases, it can be if there are stone or other subsoil obstacles present. The one I own wets the grass as well as separates a river from the lawn - Planting bed with a stone paved surface, which prevents weeds An increasing number of stones are migrating and grass is encroaching. I made sure to leave an inch of steel above ground level to crib the stone. If all I wanted to do was stop grass from growing, I could have pounded it into the ground to ground level. Depending on how quickly you want the border installed, you may wish to edge it with a flat spade first. The first thing you must do is to ensure that there are no underground fixtures. You may need irrigation hoses or wiring. b) A hacksaw and a little patience will let you adjust the length if desired.

Does it make sense to overlap pieces if the last piece is longer than the first one? Is it possible for the pieces to Would you be able to share a picture with me?

It is true. When you reach the end of your run, you can overlap the pieces and siamese them together to achieve the right length. Both pieces can be secured with the clamps when they are expanded. That's what I'm hoping to help you with.

What is its top edge like? Is it sharp at all? Are you concerned that your pets or nephews might cut their paws or feet?

There is no sharpening on the top edge, which is square in shape. Using our Edge Protector will give you extra protection. If you are looking for it on Amazon, you can search for "B08K9CFS3K".

The unit is relatively easy to install and it has good quality for being delivered to your door
4/5

Install the following The sprinkler system was ran in the softer ground for a week and the rain came a few days ago, so we began installing this corten edging this weekend. Rather than using an electric handsaw, we actually used an electric hand hammer before starting to pound in each piece to give us our starting line for the edging. Rather than hammering the edges in on the ends, I recommend that you pound them in closer to the center. You will see the right edge of the piece appearing out of the ground as you push it in on the left edge. To avoid chopping these pieces, we resized our grass area a bit so they would fit better and avoid having to be cut. However, we do need to cut a few pieces anyway. It is fortunate for me that I have a family member who works at a machine shop so I won't have to do this on my own since it would likely be quite challenging without the appropriate The following materials I like how the edging looks before the iridescence sets in This item began to patina after being left outside prior to installation. After a few days, it began to patina nicely due to the rain and sprinklers that it was exposed to. It is a bit bulky, but the clips are easy to insert and the seams are well concealed. Although I wanted something that would create a smoother edge around the edge, I think once the patina builds up and the grass grows up to the edge, the clips will blend in and not be so noticeable when the edging is completed. I am missing/disappointed You can also use corner clips! With the clips provided, the seams of a straight line can be closed easily, but the corners need to be met just right with the edging provided. The original idea I had was that this was a 3 pack of 12 ft The box arrived, and I quickly realized it was a 3 pack of 4' sheets, making it a 12' total. Price

Details In my final price quote, a few local companies suggested that this product would be priced at about half of what I paid for custom cutting and edging corten.

This is the last pair of shoes you'll ever need! A truly permanent landscaping solution is what you seek if you are looking for a landscaping option that will never need to be replaced
5/5

It is sturdy. There is a lot of pounding I have to do to get it in- The wet area helps to remove the dust. The only thing you can do is keep pounding and it'll happen. A 5'4" and 130 lb. , I weigh 20 pounds less than my height. I had to fight a little bit of determination and brute force in order An angle of 45 degrees will do, but a rounded corner will do too. When I let it warm up in the sun a bit, it seemed to bend more easily Keep your hands warm, however, by wearing Things can get pretty hot with that stuff!.

This product is extremely robust and heavy duty
5/5

These 20' packages with their 4-inch boxes were ordered in twos by me There are 90 packs in the pack These connectors have a degree angle. Its SHARP edges make installation easier, especially if the ground is moist. The overlap stakes are included as well. Installing the instructions is easy due to the sturdy materials. The use of a leather or rubber mallet may be more preferable to wood and wooden mallets Assemble your tool Rather than buying a new 4x4, I chose to use an old scrap 4x4. Unlike cleats, these do not seem to withstand sharp curves or contours. As far as I am concerned, I will overlap adjacent sections rather than cut to a specified length. Recently, I was prompted to update pictures due to a question. It has been two Nebraska winters since I moved to Nebraska While they may not be able to match the pandemic, they The joining piece of 90' was skipped & I left the top of the hill open and free Protection and enclosure that are right for the situation. There are a lot of new development in our neighborhood This works great for my yard as there are few unsupervised children in it. Apart from the preparation required for painting, pet owners find that these are remarkably pet friendly.

My favorite part of this edge is the stitching
5/5

My favorite part of this is the I installed it with no problem. To form a barrier between my mulch and my sidewalk, I placed it along the sidewalk. My sidewalk was perfectly curved when the line was drawn. This edging will last for a very long time and look great while it does so! I had willow edging on the lawn before, which was very expensive and only lasted for a few years, but this one will last forever!.

The material is very solid and sturdy
4/5

The material is very solid and sturdy. Due to the fact that we used the planters on raised platforms, it was slightly challenging to get our corners exactly square. As far as aging goes, it seems to be fine.

It has a great edge
5/5

You might have looked at the edging options and options at the garden center at your hardware store before, right? Do we really have no other option? It is made of plastic and will break within two or three seasons. This is not the stuff to read. Getting it right on the edge is so important ), strong, heavy, sharp, and long-lasting. In addition, I added gravel to the area around my AC unit. I love the way it's easy to mow around it, and I'm sure once it rusts it will look great. For those of you who gave it one star for rusting, I have also received that feedback from others. It rusts so it has a natural look. It seems to be the trend. It would be very helpful if you read the description before giving a terrible review for an event that should have happened. Spray Rust-Oleum on it or something if you don't want it to rust. Last year, I bought a different metal edging on Amazon, but this stuff is so much better worth it. In the future, I intend to purchase more and edge my flower beds in the front yard. I have to admit, it is quite heavy, and I would prefer it to be a bit lighter. It is probably an inherent part of the price tag that shipping is included.

It was a great product, but we only ordered three boxes, one 48" long and three 24" long
3/5

Two of the 48" long boxes and one of the 24" length box have been received. Despite some last minute hiccups, we are very happy with the product and the finished product It would be helpful if the other box was there I have left a message for the company with the third box of 48" but I have not received a In lieu of posting a message, I will attempt to call Amazon and the distributor. Due to not being able to contact the right person and having difficulty finding the order, it gets two stars.

It is easy to install, is strong and sturdy, and is a solid product
5/5

As part of my landscape plans, I bought 70 feet of trellis to secure my river rocks. When installing I soaked the soil with water, used a rubbed mallet, and hammered it into the soil with a 4 x 4. I had to use a little force but not too much. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy the installation was. Rust-Oleum was used to finish the job. I primed it and applied several coats. Even after over one year, the rubber still looks nice.

I like that this is a one-time purchase rather than having to replace it every few years as I did with the cheap rubber. The product is awesome, I think it's great!.
