This wire was MUCH easier and much less destructive to my plants than other methods. With the help of a small straight-edge from Fiskars, it was easily clipped If bent, the blade of the trimmer stayed put. Despite my initial concerns, I am very satisfied.

On the outside of the wire, there is a soft coating of plastic. This mix has a very thin interior wire, which makes it flexible and easy to wrap around a plant without damaging the stem.
