Questions & Answers

They look to be solid steel tubes, but I'm not sure if they are coated steel pipes?

It is a very light material, and it bends a little bit. My perception is that the material feels like all plastic, but if there is steel, I wouldn't call it

These can be used as seer fencing, right?

It is reinforced plastic that is used to make the stakes. For sera fencing, I do not think they are strong enough.

Do these have the ability to ?

There is a degree of flexibility to them, but it will not retain a curve over time. You shouldn't bend them too far, because they will snap. By using a heat gun, you might be able to permanently bend that metal.

Is it possible to use these traps to catch coyotes?

Don't waste your money on them! They are complete garbage! They are hollow thin metal, much better to use sticks instead of these!

The tubes are coated with plastic
3/5

For tomato plants of very small sizes, these are very effective. The materials used are too thin and flimsy at this time of the year, so these There do not seem to be any steel tubes, but rather The stakes had to be replaced by solid wood at the midpoint of the year. It will be used for other small plants next year, if any survive.

The quality is excellent
3/5

The items appear to be of decent quality, on a par with the ones sold in Its design differs from those sold in big-box stores, as each stake does not have a sticky label attached to it, which must Trellis can be built with them because they are very rigid. Though I would prefer not to have points on both ends, it is an option I can adapt to. A BIG UPDATE

The date for April 10, 2020 is A few of these have started to fall apart. The plastic coating has split and crumbled near the ends, exposing the steel tubes to the elements and rust. The steel tubes are expanding and cracking more. It is no longer possible for me to.

We can't hammer these in deeply enough to hold the plants in place
3/5

We have quite rocky soil and these broke when I hammered them in. They are mostly worthless to me which means I am not using them. There is a good chance that these will work well with soil that does not contain rocks. Those aren't solid rebar since there are three (according to my memory) rebar pieces inside them, and the plastic that separates the rebar pieces collapses when hammered.

I would rate it as a zero

I'd suggest steering clear of these hollow spikes as they're garbage and can hurt you while putting them down. DO NOT BUY CHINESE CHEAP GARBAGE BUY THE BAMBOO ONE.

I can do it if I have to
4/5

The tubes are coated with aluminum. These can be pushed into hard or soft ground without much difficulty, but they will need a hammer if you need to use them on hard soil. Except for that, they may not be suitable if wood stakes are unavailable. For our tomato plants, we had to use multiple stakes.

The work is done
5/5

As a result of a rogue flowerbed left by the previous owners, I have a bunch of plants at my new home. There were some irises that were sagging to the ground in the spring heat that needed a lot of attention. It is effective to use stakes like this. Since they are relatively lightweight, they need to be a fair bit thick to be decently stable. I found these to be quite useful for my purposes. I only had a problem with one iris that was growing up against a Since the stake was sandwiched between bricks on one side of the stake and roots on the other, it was very difficult to plant. Perhaps there are other stakes that use harder materials to make thinner stakes that are better than those I've seen. However, general usage should be It is possible to grow a variety of plants, including iris and tomato plants I think these stakes will work perfectly for what you need, especially if you have looser planting soil and a thick stake is an ideal choice.

Stakes for the garden are good
5/5

The stakes offered at big box stores are nearly identical to/as good as those offered here. The fact that they're pointed at both ends makes them very convenient to use, so you don't have to worry about putting the right end down. It's a good buy, we used it to stake pepper plants and the like in our vegetable garden. At four feet, it's long enough for a wide variety of plants and vegetables.

Stakes that last for a long time
5/5

In my gardening, I use a lot of stakes. Because bamboo stakes can be significantly cheaper in the short run, it is tempting to buy them. The problem is, not only are they significantly less durable, but they also rarely last more than a season. In this case, the stakes are stronger, last longer, and are more durable. It is an investment that will pay off if you are serious about your gardening. will be less expensive in the long run, and their performance will help you avoid buying a product of inferior quality and experiencing buyer's remorse.
