Purchasing this item was the best way to ensure I was not overwatering my snake plant, as it showed signs of overwatering. As soon as I put it in the ground, I was able to see it. I anticipated a dry reading since it had been a week since we watered the plants. It required some water, so I added some water, then let it stand a few minutes, then reinserted the meter. I watered, but still the reading is totally dry (the attached picture was taken I took it out and tested it on a few other plants, which I had watered just this morning, but I noticed no change in the reading, everything was still reading as dry when I could feel the soil damp. In other words, this device is less accurate than just sticking a finger in the soil, which is already something that I can It is not necessary for me to do the other readings, though I doubt that they would be useful I intend to return.

The purchase of soil meters through Amazon is a shady experience. The products all seem very similar, but some have terrible reviews, while others have high rankings. The brands of the products also vary from company to company. The fact is you will read reviews for different products when you read the actual product descriptions! I was very happy to find that this meter was not like that at all, and it has worked perfectly since I received it. There is a massive and accurate light sensor as well as the PH and AP sensors I especially like the fact that it has moisture functions, especially at this price. This is a significantly more trustworthy method than any of those DIY soil sample kits, which don't seem to work because they don't account for the PH of your water, which is what is needed It is unlikely that these DIY tests are accurate unless they are executed professionally, which is expensive and time-consuming, especially if you change media frequently and check many types. Then and now It has long been my desire to grow a garden in my backyard, but I wanted to find the right spot to do so. My purpose was to make sure I was planting in the right position, so I purchased a soil tester. By measuring how much sunlight strikes the soil, how much moisture it holds, and what its pH is, I can find out how healthy it is. The fact that I can track these items allows me to enhance the properties of my garden for optimal growth. Because it uses sunlight as a power source, there is no need to use external batteries. This tool can even be used for testing my house plants. I like the display screen because it's easy to read and understand. All in all, I am very satisfied with this product.

I needed a PH meter and had purchased two other devices that It was more expensive than the one we have now. PH, moisture, and light values are all very well measured with this device. Several areas of the lawn had varying PH levels, which I checked. The PH level of an area of the lawn where some lime had been applied was higher (just like it should be), showing this device is accurate and very useful when caring for the lawn. My recommendation is to check it out.

In Arizona, we have averaged 110 degree temperatures in the past month, and I just planted a couple of fruit trees that started out fine after a month. However, one tree died after several months and I couldn't tell if it was because of wet or dry soil. My first planting was a new Blue Point Juniper and I wanted to be sure I watered it as properly as possible, so I bought a Fivota Moisture 3-pack The test was conducted by one person. It appears that I was watering my trees too much, so I will use this soil moisture tester every couple of days to find out when I should flood those trees. PH and Light are both done here, but neither I require at this time, since it is Arizona and we have nearly every day of sun and I have no way to block the most amount of sun light. Shade is so hard to come by here and even the shade is only 10 degrees cooler. I don't think the reading of the PH level is necessary at this time.

The Fivota Soil / pH meter is made to be highly accurate and is quite sturdy for testing soil pH, light levels, and moisture content.
I have found it to be very accurate so far. For some of the plantings that I have, I am particularly concerned with the soil pH. I used a soil pH meter from another company that I was afraid might not provide accurate data. The structure was really flimsy as well. This meter is well made and I like its large dial. It's solid and accurate I made it. Readings are accurate to the best of my ability. The instructions mention that the meter should be buried in the soil for at least 10 minutes to get an accurate reading of the pH. This product changed the pH of the solution after letting it set for that length of time. I highly recommend it!.

This soul meter was necessary for me. The plants that need more water are some of the ones I have. The information you provided has been of great assistance Several different spots in my three gardens have been able to read the meter, and this has been consistent across all three. Now all of the plants have been planted in places I had not previously thought to plant As of now, they appear to be in good shape. A ph indicator is included, as well as an easy to read screen. This is what I was looking for, so I bought it.

For the most part, I bought this product to gauge the moisture in the soil. Light/lux readings as well as pH measurements are already more accurate than my current devices. As far as I can tell, the soil meter is functioning The gardener's chart is a handy tool for someone who is new to gardening (indoors and outdoors). With my phone app, I've compared the lux readings to the lux readings from my lights. This device reads noticeably lower than the last one, and I can honestly say it reads much In addition, modern phone meters don't read as accurate as they should, but they usually read lower than the actual reading. The readings of this device are even lower than that, so I'd be reluctant to use them. It seems like the PH readings are in range with a higher end meter I have, so if you're ok with some 10-point readings, you might be able to fill in the blanks If you don't need to be super accurate with your measurements, then this would work perfectly. Overall, this is a good item if you don't need it to be super accurate. Definitely a great tool for watering, and I will definitely make use of it often! The money is easily worth it.
