No, I do not believe that is true. It's designed to shave grass.
The blades aren't horizontal, so don't expect to see them. They're at a 40-percentage point, in my opinion. The angle is 45 degrees. I'm guessing it's more than 8 ounces, but I didn't weigh it or purchase it for that reason. Please accept my apologies for not being able to assist you further.
I am 94 years old, and after a short time of use, my forarms hurt!
Yeah, I use it in places where I'm worried the weed whacker will cause damage.

This is an excellent tool. Very incisive. This is a fantastic cut. I didn't want to deal with the weed eater's annoyance. Excellent product.
These were ideal for cutting grass along my lawn's edges. For me, it's the ideal size. Instead of using my electric edger, I prefer to use this method.
It isn't feasible. heavy. It wasn't obvious that there was an angle that shouldn't be used on grass. I was, however, too lazy to return it.
