I'm not sure where this item was created. They are of excellent quality and perform admirably. Because I liked the first pair so much, I purchased three more. Keep a pair in the car in case I come across any useful plants while out walking in the woods with my dogs.

They won't close or open correctly any longer. 18 months after purchase, I contacted the manufacturer, who informed me that they only offered a one-year warranty and would not stand behind the product; fine if you only need it for a year, but otherwise you might want to look for something from a better manufacturer!.
These shears are of excellent quality. They've been useful for pruning a rose bush and deadheading flowering plants. I haven't tried them on a bush yet, but because they're so sharp, I think they'd work well on a thin branch. I would strongly advise using them for routine pruning and cleaning.
Because they were not expensive, I was skeptical, but I was pleasantly surprised by the overall quality. Not only have I used them on my roses, but also on young trees. Excellent value for money.
The foam handle keeps it from slipping and softens the pressure when squeezing, which I really like. The only issue is that after about 15 uses, the locking latch appears to catch. It'd be nice if it stayed in place a little longer. Aside from that, it cuts smoothly and has a pleasant feel to it.
The pruners work well, and I appreciate the padded handles, which make working with my arthritic fingers much more comfortable.
These pruning shears are a good medium-tough option. During the first three weeks of pruning, the first pair broke. If this pair stands up to the pressure, I'll gladly write another review. Working with them is a breeze.
The garden shear is well-made and sharp, and the foam tubing on the handles makes it a little more comfortable to use.
This was purchased for the purpose of cutting down tree limbs. The pin that held the two blades together broke the third time it was used. There is no way to repair the pin. I would not recommend this product.
