They're what I use to keep the grass at the edges of my mulched gardens trimmed. Teasel isn't something I think it'll be able to handle. Also, it's difficult to explain, but the blade is perpendicular to the handle but in a straight line, if that makes sense, making it difficult to cut across things (as would hand shears). Imagine standing and then walking along the edge of a garden bed with shears in hand, cutting grasses that are sticking/growing sideways into the garden bed. To cut through long grass to make a path, you'd have to hold the shears sideways, which isn't the way they're supposed to be used.

This is a fantastic tool for gardeners. It's perfect for fine edging on formal circles and getting into tight spaces that necessitate extra caution when cutting. The mail took a long time to arrive. It was very well packed. In my opinion, this is a must-have gardening tool.
These edging shears are ideal for creating a perfectly manicured lawn. I am a 5ft woman, and I had no problems with them at all. I wish I had purchased them earlier. Compared to a trimmer, the result is much more professional.
You won't have to crawl on your knees or walk around hunched over any longer. They have a razor-sharp edge that stays sharp for a long time.
In border gardens, it makes a nice edge. It won't work as well on a hard surface like a driveway or stone/metal edging.
When it comes to edging, this is a fantastic tool.
It's simple to use and has a good amount of sharpness. I'm also going to order the ones with horizontal blades.
The shears weren't as sharp, and the blade angle wasn't ideal for the edging I needed.
