Questions & Answers
The blade has a nice feel to it.
The model with the shorter blades is the only one I've ordered. They've done a fantastic job so far. They've always been dealt with in a reddish-brown manner. The model with longer blades appears to have white handles, based on what I've seen on Amazon and in livestock catalogs.
That is an excellent query. We believe they will be fine, but we are on opposite sides of the issue. Persuasion by hand is a technique used to persuade people. The hardness and durability of the blade's steel is its most notable feature. We use them to trim goat hooves and find them to be very effective.

You'll have a difficult time identifying these on the ARS website. I was sent a pair of red sneakers with no catch on the bottom, model 140DXR, which retails for $44 on Amazon. This pair is white, and it's a little longer than the red ones I received. Everything is a bit perplexing. Amazon should look into this and get to the bottom of it. Because they are longer and have a metal catch at the bottom of the handle, this white pair is listed on the ARS website as 140LDX. Aside from that, it appears that all of the ARS shears have excellent customer reviews. They're razor-sharp and perform admirably when it comes to cutting.
Then there were these. When it comes to trimming hooves, a friend encouraged me to get them, and it's now as easy as cutting butter. These are fantastic!.
For my own garden last year, I purchased the same shears. We were so taken with them that we purchased them for our son, who raises a variety of plants, including wine grapes. He adores them as well. They have a great fit in the hand and a great price, plus they are MADE IN JAPAN!.
I was worried it wouldn't work for my purpose because it said 'pruning shears' on the package when it arrived. I've already used them twice to trim the hooves of my five Nigerian dwarf goats, and they're fantastic! The hoof can be easily trimmed to the desired length. I would purchase these again. br>br>*Editing for Update
br>I haven't bought these in 5 years! They're still trimming just as well as they were when I first got them; I use them on my herd all the time, and I've also used them for other things like dog nail trimming and cutting up chicken bones, and they're still as good as new! I didn't get mine in Japanese packaging, so I'm not sure what's going on. I'd recommend double-checking your seller before placing an order to ensure you're dealing with a trustworthy individual.
Trimmers for my rabbits and goats are fantastic. When compared to dog trimmers, it doesn't work as well on my dog, but it works wonders on the other animals. Because it's so sharp, I'm sure it'd be great for trimming shrubs as well.
These are the most amazing goat hoof trimmers I've ever seen! I've used the cheap, green-handled ones that don't last, but these are so much better. as if cutting butter with a hot knife! I wish I had purchased them earlier.
These are strong enough to cut evergreen stems for holiday floral work, but they're also great for roses and other summer flowers. They feel great in my hands, and I was thrilled to find them for such a low price.
This is used to cut the nails of llamas, alpacas, and goats. They were mentioned to us by the man who shears our sheep. They were only a few dollars, but they were far superior to anything I'd seen in a farm store. I didn't get the color I wanted, but what matters is how well it works and how long it lasts.
