My reason for getting this is that I just started a bonsai collection, and it I found it would be very useful to have a set of tools to help me maintain them. The quality of the data is hard to judge because I haven't used it for a long time yet. Although I have used them only a limited amount, they seem to be sturdy enough so For those who have never owned bonsai tools and have just acquired them, this is ideal. While I may upgrade in the future, for now they seem to be useful for pruning and cleaning The process of potting bonsai.
It would be better if it had a user manual explaining what each tool does.
There was only one reason for giving it four stars 2 of the Velcro holders were ripped, but this was easily fixed with some super glue, so I gave it four stars. The fact that it comes with a case is all that matters to me. I give it an eight out of ten.
It shipped quickly and was in good condition.
For beginners to bonsai art, this is an excellent set.
It had never been my experience to work with a concave cutter before, so I didn't know if it was normal for it to be making rough cuts. I tried out a better quality concave cutter, and the difference was striking -- perfectly clean cuts.
Despite their lightweight design, the instruments are extremely durable. downside is that you do need to oil them or else they get hard to handle.
