Questions & Answers

In this case, is the blade inserted into the wood handle, or does it run along it?

A large slice of the blade extends through the middle of the handle for half of its length. It is solid wood at the top of the handle. Due to the way the wood is slotted and the blade slides in, you can clearly see the metal blade on the sides of the handle. As far as the arrangement goes, it seems very powerful, and I love my piece of equipment!

How did the manufacturer get its name?

The gardening tool is made in Japan and is my favorite. It is unknown who the manufacturer is.

When it comes to the blade, how thick is it?

The following information is about the blade A total of 6 3/4" in length Approximately 1 5/8inches in diameter at the handle and at the base Approximately 1/8" thick along the center of this knife. It is not flimsy I have used mine for several years on a variety of tasks (from digging to prying to cutting with the serrated edge) and have never felt like I've exceeded its abilities. For the price, it is an amazing product.

Would you like the whole thing?

It is a very good There is no more than half way down the handle of this blade, as it is a partial tang blade. To attach a lanyard or similar accessory to the handle, there is a hole drilled along its length.

Have you ever wondered what a hori hori is? Earlier this week, as I was trying to find the hori hori knife that would offer the best combination of quality and value, I found myself in the same situation
3/5

Therefore, I purchased this knife along with the Nisaku blade at a cost of The number will now be 50. You should go ahead and spend the extra money for the Nisaku without regrets. The two are VERY similar in design and construction, but if you look closely, they are actually not really that different. From the blade's polish and grind to the wood and pins on the handle, the Nisaku is an entirely superior piece of work. It is important, however, that the steel be of good quality. I looked close at the bonsai blade after 14 years of sales experience in steel. In fact, I found extensive pitting on the blade. Despite its flawless steel, the Nisaku is stronger than most swords. Depending on your needs, this will translate into the amount of time each will give you. As opposed to Bonsai, which are not marked with the country of origin, Nisaku proudly state "Made in Japan". "I recommend that you return to the search results and select the Nisaku There is no regret in doing This Bonsai knife can be seen on the right side of the pic On the left, you can see the Nisaku.

I've got some good hori, but I've got some In fact, I was tempted to give a three star rating, but the knife itself is quite sturdy and well constructed
4/5

It can be a bit bulky for someone with small hands like myself, but it is made well and is definitely sharp enough to cut through roots. Despite that, the sheath is nothing but junk. The reason why I gave it three stars was because of that. The plastic is very cheaply made and poorly made. As the sheath that came with it will not last as long as you would like if you were intending to keep it on your belt for metal detecting. It is a well-built heavy duty horikari, which is why I gave it a four star review.

However, it's not quite as great as the blade
3/5

The blades are excellent, but the handles are in need of some modification. Two sharp edges were visible on the blade. I paid $16 for the item. It does have a big design flaw, however, as the straight blade side (which is relatively sharp up until the handle edge) will slice into your fingers as it is easy for the hand to glide up on the It's dangerous to keep using this blade. I put Gorilla tape on top edge of blade to prevent further cuts to my pointer finger! Manufacturer needs to fix this. I'd advise you to avoid it. that, it does a great job of cutting weeds and soil.

This is a very useful garden tool you didn't know you needed
5/5

I really like how solid this blade is. There is a serrated edge on one side as well as a very sharp one on the other. This is great for cutting through roots and cutting down weeds. Don't let yourself get caught With the sharp side, I cut off a chunk of my finger. I used it to kill weeds in my garden that had been neglected. Also, I've used it as a dibber to open up the soil before planting new plants. In my opinion, it is substantial and feels solid in your hand. However, the sheath that comes with it is a heap of garbage. In truth, I don't consider it necessary for everyday use, but I use it as a cover when I store the blade.

I really like how it works
4/5

The way you put it makes sense to me. As thick as my butcher knife and as sharp as my Gerber, this metal is like nothing else I own. My gardening needs are exceeded by the quality of the product Working with potted plants and digging, planting, weeding, and weeding. We are sure that the handle will last a long time. The plastic handle of the one I had (which cost twice as much) snapped in half. Despite its shortcomings, I would have given it five stars if the sheath had been stronger.

It is the best garden tool on the market
5/5

Having been a gardener for many years, I know how to take care of plants. This knife would save my life if I didn't have it. They are the only tools I use for everything and the only other pair of tools I need is my All they need is to be made in a neon color, because I tend to lose them each season and have to purchase another one every few months. Be careful to not cut yourself when you first get them, as they are extremely sharp. When you cut down your garden at the end of the season, they are most effective. Put all the stuff in a bag and bash it. Their digging ability is phenomenal, and you can weed all over the place with them. I have tried a lot of tools and the one I use most is my best. I recommend you to buy it. I suggest you buy two. Buying anything else is a waste of money. You can't get good value for your money if it's cheap. You should get one that appears exactly as shown in this picture.

The little friend of the gardener
3/5

There's nothing you can't do with this sucker! The young man digs holes, saws roots, measures, and looks like a badass! It makes him feel like he's playing crocodile dundee when he uses the device. It was necessary for me to reduce my rating to two My favorite part of the tool was that I was able to use it for an entire year and a half. In the process of prying a weed root, the medal blade broke in half.

Gardeners will love these! One of these has been in my possession for roughly 10 years
5/5

Moreover, I have just bought two more books as gifts this holiday season. Shopping around For those of you who are seeking information (1) When buying, make sure you get stainless steel Others will rust, and you wouldn't want to deal with that if you didn't have to. Let's get started on marking the height There is a friend of mine who complains about her bulb planter when she doesn't have one. Personally, I think a leather sheath would be better than a vinyl sheath. What's the point of skimping on the sheath when you have a heavy knife? Get a heavy duty sheath!
Good luck with your selection, and dig.
