Having just started in bonsai for the first time, I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a Sets like this one are a great way to get started. A quality product is a good product. It is a sharp and well-functioning pair of scissors. The overall impression I have is that this set is highly recommended.
Spending twice is not a good idea. Provides you with all the tools you need to enjoy Bonsai. This has been my current phone for about six months, and so far I haven't seen any signs of wear or tear. There is no doubt that the tool kit will last for years to come. Despite it having all you need, I had to purchase some additional wire as this kit didn't come with at least a lot of it. Purchasing wire on a regular basis will never be a big deal since it will be needed The price was well worth it!.
In the beginning, there is the impression I shall update this if I encounter any weakness with the tools. The tools are a little rough on the touch, but I feel that they are stable and sturdy in my hand. The cutting tools are lined up properly and sharp edges are on all cutting tools. As described, there are 10 tools in the package, plus 5 different wire spools of different sizes that are not included in the tool count, so you get the number of tools represented on the box. I appreciate that this kit does not inflate the item count, as some kits would refer to it as a 15-piece set. Therefore, it is a value of Considering it is a sturdy set for beginners to intermediate, I am not opposed to replacing some of the tools if I became highly invested in Bonsai in the future, maybe the leaf snippers, but you would do that anyways, would you not? Having just started out in bonsai, I feel these tools will be more than sufficient for quite some time to come. Again, you will purchase higher end tools as you progress, but these tools will always be here for you.
My response to this tool kit is a total surprise, I must be honest. It all came together well, and I was impressed with the case, too. The item is excellent and I recommend it to anyone looking to buy it.
A bonsai set like this is a nice gift for my son who has just begun learning the art. I was extremely pleased with the tools. The quality of the goods was much better than I expected (thanks to the affordability of the product). We live in SW Florida and have left them out in our garden area and they have done great. The plants do not have to suffer any unnecessary stress due to sharp, clean cuts. With the tight springs you will be able to have great control. I use a tiny bit of olive oil once a month when I clean them up and they are still in like new condition. As part of our next bonsai donation, I will definitely include a few charity auction packages I put together each year.
Our return policy was that I got this as a gift for my husband and he These tools were of poor quality and were hard to open, even after lubrication, and the blades were not lined I saw rust and damage on it. As a result of advice from his bonsai club, he ended up buying three lower quality tools instead of a kit. For beginners, I think the entire set is overkill, and this one is.
Due to the fact that I only have indoor plants that don't require these larger tools, I didn't return or exchange the tool set because I ordered other items that go with it and I thought it was too complicated to order those together and return the tool set. A set like this could be just what someone is looking for because it is heavy duty with numerous items.
The quality of the product is not very good. A poor finish and jaws that bind are the results of poor fit a finish. This is a very stiff device to use. I would advise you to take your money to Walmart and buy a Fiskars. Package as a whole was not impressive to me. This product is not recommended for purchase.
