In addition to kneeling, I've sat using it as well. It has a great feature whereby if you're kneeling on it, the pad is raised a bit and you're not sitting on mud, so if you flip it over if you want to sit, the seat has a decent amount of cleanliness. I love that the supports are both sturdy and nice and tall when it is used for kneeling, so, when I have to stand up, I can use them to help me. I would recommend it to anyone with old bones - it truly is a wonderful experience. If you have an older or younger bone, you're lucky! Though I have not used the tool pocket, I expect it will come in handy at some point. In exchange for my review, I did not receive any incentives, I paid full price for it. I think it is.
Review of original article It is an item I am generally happy with I was satisfied with it (but it didn't exceed my expectations). It's no secret that I have a hard time gardening since I developed back problems, and this item will help me get back to a passion of mine, so in that regard I would recommend it. However, the plastic leg protectors didn't do much for me. For them to function, the point of contact with the floor or ground must be the point of contact with them. Additionally, there is some concerning wiggle/noise when making any sort of lateral or side-to-side movement Sitting on a stool, you can move your hands on each side of your body. Stools like this one are rated for 330 pounds of weight and they are sturdy when it comes to pure weight capacity. The ability of the system to support my 300-pound gear is not a concern for me If I sat still, the wiggle makes me suspect that if I were to suddenly move to the right or left, or perhaps if I were to bend or break something if I sat down while coming in suddenly at a sharp angle, I would be in trouble. A quick update I am sure that after sitting on it and bending down to pull weeds for perhaps an hour (very light use), one of the legs has indeed bent inward (see picture attached), making what was already a wobbly stool useless as well. The manufacturer will be contacted and the review will be updated if/when I receive a response. The second part of the update is as follows A few days later, I contacted the seller explaining the problem and asking about the warranty, offering to pay for the repair myself. The seller immediately sent a replacement as soon as I asked for it. I suspect that the original stool had a slight bend from the beginning, since the replacement stool does not have the initial wiggle my original stool had. While not the best product, the customer service was amazing and I did like the product. So I upped my rating to 4 stars.
I mean it. As well as suffering from back, hip, knee, and joint pain due to rheumatoid arthritis, my mother, who is 70 years old, purchased this item. Her use of this simple piece of equipment has changed her daily life dramatically. Not only is it used at the edge of the garden as a seat and knee pad, but she actually uses it indoors now as well. The chair is lightweight and portable, so she can take it anywhere she might bend over for an extended period of time (tending to the fire place, for instance) and even use it as a knee pad for household chores (like cleaning the floor, cleaning up a spill, I love that it has a handle at the knee so she can grip it By engaging the pad in a standing position, she is able to stand more easily than a kneeling position. In addition to being sturdy, the knee pad is comfortable to sit on. This is such a brilliant product that I am thinking about getting one for her so she does not have to move it between inside/outside and clean it every time. I cannot recommend it.
I really like the In my opinion, it's height is its downside. The height I am is 5'3" & I am 145 lb I find that this stool sits too high off the ground. In order to protect my back, I bought this product As I need to bend over so far while sitting on it, I don't think that it will be able to handle the job. Here's a pic of the stool next to my sofa and a lamp lit next to it To find out who was taller, we measured them both. In the end, the score was even. My only wish is that they made a version that is shorter.
My problem is being able to get up when I am in the flower beds. I bought this foldable kneeler and seat to help me. To be able to use the seat either way is a nice feature. I have it for a month or so now, but I wish the pockets were a little larger so as to put a water bottle or soda can in them, as well as having legs that are a little more sturdy. Since I have been using it for a month the legs seem to be a little looser.
Due to having both hips replaced within the last year, gardening has proven to be difficult. There is an attached bag for tools, which is a nice touch. The design is neat and appealing, and the instructions are.
A garden kneeler is what I have been looking for for months and I am very happy with it. In the kneeling position, I use it the most. I like how firm but still soft the foam is, because both my knees are comfortable. I am able to kneel only with help from this device. I really like the handles on the back of the chair for getting up again. Using this system makes it so much easier and quicker, and it's nice not to appear like a floating whale to people walking Although when I put my full weight on the handles as I get up, it gives a little when I put a lot of force on it. If it weren't able to fold, I would prefer it to be more durable since it could feel more solid. It is possible the system will become unstable or will break as a result. I will update my post accordingly.
