I had my neighbor install it for me and he simply determined where the studs beneath the stucco were. It was relatively easy for him to install the kit with a drill gun. In the end, the pad eyes ended up being longer than expected because of where the studs determined where to attach them, so I had to add more turnbuckles to compensate.
Neither a manual nor an instruction sheet are provided. Kind of like anything else, it just takes a little bit of trial and error. You need to consider your sail shade and where you want it to be installed. Initially, it will stretch a bit, so measure it and add some space on either side to tighten it up. The sail is then attached to the anchor plates after they have been screwed in.

What is described in a listing would be exactly what you get, but I bought a brand different from this on Amazon that was much larger. It is about twice as thick than the Ollieroo Shade Sail Hardware Kit I bought a few months ago, all for nearly the same price. It makes sense since both are made of 316 Stainless Steel, so the other one should be I was not paying attention to the description well enough it was my fault as I thought I was buying the same size hardware. For an example of a comparison between the two hardware kits, refer to the photo below.
Although the hardware is of excellent quality for its price, why are there only two In order to complete my installation, I had to pick up two more at Home Depot. Rather than diamond plates, I also bought some eye bolts to use for some of the corners. Instead of pulling on 4 screws, that makes a stronger connection since it goes straight through the wood. In order to keep the tension on the screws, the 2 diamond plates I used were mounted horizontally.
The hardware is fancy, but the screw heads are too short. The screws are only one inch long, but the stainless steel is nice. For the application, the screws are way undersized. In order to fix fascia with screws, you will need longer screws since most fascia is just a thin, non-embedded sheet of plastic An anchor is not to be held by a wooden facing. You will need something longer that will go through the fascia to the stronger wood behind it. This type of screw is not suitable for use in an area with high winds.
They have stripped out or snapped heads and are not suitable for use. The following is my predication A hole has been drilled in It's great to see anchors out in the open. I recommend the links, as they are quality pieces. Despite the adjuster's nice features, I had to get longer ones to get the sail to where I needed it to be.
The kit served as a base for adding additional hardware from Home Depot to install a sun shade. It was my intention to have turnbuckles on all four corners, but the kit came Turnbuckles can be found at Home Depot, and I modified them by adding longer "close line screws" to lengthen them. Since the bracket screws included with the kit were kind of wimpy, I used other screws instead. You are in good hands.
The brackets and turnbuckles are of good quality, but the hardware and anchors are in poor condition. Take a look at some epoxy coated deck screws and make some studs into something beautiful.
The hardware seems to be good quality, but I do feel the screws are too small. Because of the wind, the turbuckles are prone to unscrewing themselves and falling apart. You may be able to fix this problem by adding locknuts to the turnbuckles. Two additional carabiners were added in their place. As we observe daily wind conditions, we will see whether or not the solution holds up.
The hardware is fantastic! I noticed all of them are stainless steel (from what I can see). It is only the length of the screws that I find problematic. To mount my sail shade, I mounted it to two 4x4 posts and Rather than using the 1 1/4" screws that came with the house, I used 2 1/4" Outdoor screws for the house. Additionally, it would be nice if there was a kit option that came with four With 2, it would be convenient, but with 4, it would be easier.
