The table does not have any kind of lifting mechanism *br>I must admit, I was very pleased with the workmanship, quality, and packaging of this product, especially the chairs.

This little table is sturdy, easy to put together, and is well made. After only 3 months on the deck the finish is already failing, so I only gave it a 3 star rating. My guess was that this table would require refinishing every year, but not after just three.
