My deck is where I keep mine, and it's doing fine. Although the material is tough, I've never known it to always withstand kitten claws. My cats are indoor cats, so I can't guarantee anything, but I believe it will last a long time, especially if you have a scratching post nearby.
Yes. Because there is no back, it can only be used for short periods of time. I purchased two of them to use as hassocks and as extra seating. I'm about 200 pounds, and they easily accommodate me.

This is the first time I've seen it. Perfect for a lazy day ottoman, and it matches my existing chairs perfectly. The ottoman is the same height as the chair seat, making it a very comfortable leg rest; the bean bag stuffing is well done, and the ottoman is substantial. On top of the ottoman, my two long legs were very comfortable. When necessary, it can also be used as a comfortable additional seat. It's high enough to be a comfortable seat without feeling like you're sitting in a child's chair, and it's not too low to the ground to require assistance in rising. This purchase has exceeded my expectations. I'm thinking about getting another. I'm going to start by seeing how it handles the weather over the next few weeks. If this post fails to stand the test of time, I will update it; until then, I would strongly suggest it. br>br>7/24/16 I'm still a big fan of this ottoman. It's still incredibly cozy. I've been bringing it in every night because I don't want it to be damaged. I forgot about it last night, and we got a big downpour. The water had beaded up on the fabric and it was not saturated when I brought it in about 15 minutes later. That was quite good, in my opinion. I still wouldn't leave it outside in the rain for an extended period of time. One of my cats enjoys using it as a seat inside, so I'm keeping an eye on it to make sure it doesn't entice any of my four cats to use it as a scratching post. If it doesn't, I'll have to buy another for the cats. This is an abused cat that appears to be quite content. So, if anyone knows of a cat bed manufacturer, that would be great. Make yourself at ease. br>br>Last update: 8/10/16 GROUPON IS NOT A GOOD PLACE TO BUY THIS! When I first joined Groupon, I saw this exact ottoman for $16 less. I liked the first one so much that I went ahead and purchased the less expensive one from Groupon. Money that was wasted! It's unmistakably a second, despite the fact that it's not labeled as such. It's about a third as full as the first, sags horribly, and sits much lower. It isn't even used by cats! This irritates me greatly. I ordered something from GROUPON the last time I was in the market for something.
This pouf is very cute, and I enjoyed using it as extra footrests when my family came to visit. Dog hair, on the other hand, adheres to it like glue. It is not possible to clean the cover because it is not removable. Don't be fooled by the presence of a zipper. Thousands of tiny foam beads fly out as soon as the zipper is unzipped. Inquire as to how I came to this conclusion. This is a lovely piece of furniture, but it's useless to me if it can't be cleaned.
My great granddaughter enjoys sitting on the footrest, which is very comfortable. I gave it four stars because I believe it is a little overpriced. br>My purple one, however, lacks the same amount of fill as the green one, which disappoints me. It's possible that I'll return, but I haven't made up my mind yet.
I was pleasantly surprised by how light and portable it is. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to sit on it, but it's quite sturdy. Because I have a German Shepard dog, there were easily stuck furs on it, I gave it four stars rather than five. It's a little difficult to clean it off, but with the lint roller, it's no problem.
While this ottoman could use a little more fill, I'm still pleased with it because it allows me to sit outside on my porch, which is something I've always wanted to do, and the color is beautiful. I don't think it's worth the money, but I'm glad I bought it because it's exactly what I needed (except for the fact that it's missing some fill).
Additionally, the content is excellent. Soft and firm at the same time - When you sit on it, you will not sink.
For my lanai, I wanted something a little more interesting than a standard ottoman. This is EXACTLY what I was looking for! I've only had it for a few days, but it looks great, is comfortable to sit on, and doubles as an extra seat when needed. It was a little on the pricey side, but if it lasts, it will be well worth it.
The size and color of the ottoman were exactly as I had hoped for. My issue was that I expected it to be firmer than it was. It resembles a bean bag in appearance. We still use it for its intended purpose (outdoor footrest), but it's not quite what I was hoping for.
