It's fun for me to put things together like this because it's not too difficult. There were ten pieces of wood and 14 or 16 bolts, if my memory serves me correctly. The instructions were simple and straightforward. The seat was made of one piece, and the back was made of one piece as well. The arms and rockers must be assembled and secured to the seat and back. The only issue I had was that you have to grip the parts tightly in order for the bolts to go into the holes, but this only improves the construction once it's completed. I love my rocker so much that I bought a second one to complete the set.
Thank you for taking the time to write to me. The rocking chair is about 18-inches tall. The seat is 19 inches off the ground.
Under my chair, I have a rectangle rug. It's 18" x 30" in size.

incredibly tough Ok - Let's face it, I'm a big dude - 400+ lbs. and 6'3". Chairs of all shapes and sizes are literally destroyed by me - It is a natural occurrence. This chair is not one of them. It has a lot of weight to it. It was also simple to put together. The holes were perfectly aligned, and the unfinished wood added a nice touch. Some people have complained about broken parts, which I can paint or stain to any finish I want. and - If the box was damaged during transit, I could see that. The pieces are neatly tucked in. Mine, on the other hand, was perfect right out of the box. It's comfortable to rock in full motion in this chair, and it's at a good height without being too low. My only criticism is that the chair's back is a little stiff due to the angle - which can be easily solved with a small throw pillow The chair is quite nice.
Wow! This is a fantastic product. This was purchased to go with the Amish bench swing that I purchased last year. I spent about an hour putting this together on my own. Use the fact that I have severe arthritis as a barometer. It isn't really a two-person operation. All you'll need is a wrench for this job. There aren't any problems to report. The chair is delivered in five pieces and is well packaged. There were no issues with the shipping. To keep the pieces together, they come with 18 heavy-duty bolts and nuts. Fortunately, all of the pre-existing conditions have been eliminated. The drilled holes were almost perfectly aligned. To get everything just right, a little nudge here and there was necessary, but it was simple enough. For a faster assembly, I recommend using a socket wrench. The instructions are simple, but they aren't world-class. Although the chair shown on the sheet was not the same as the one in the package, the pieces fit together perfectly. To complete this project, you'll need some space; the most difficult part for me was attaching the backrest to the seat. When completed, it has a substantial weight to it. The chair is comfortable and spacious in its own right. The wood itself has a light protective coating on it, but it has a nice natural appearance.
If you treat it properly (I reseal all of my cedar every March), it will last a lifetime. It's a beautiful piece of furniture that was simple to assemble (even with my bad back) and tighten. br>br>I adore rocking chairs and have long wished for one for my porch - This is the option I selected. It has a smooth ride and is big enough to accommodate a big person - There will be no severing of my legs' circulation. I discovered that I already had some chair pads from some old lawn furniture that were the perfect fit for this rocking chair. br>br>The issue is - I sit in the chair, which is set at an angle that is just a few degrees too steep for me to be comfortable - It's odd because it puts a small amount of strain on my lower back that I'm not used to when I'm sitting. This is not the case with my cedar bench - As a result, the chair is the culprit. I tried putting a chair pad on the rocking chair, and while that solved one problem, it created a new one - This is frustrating because the back has been pushed too far forward. br>br>I may eventually find or create something that solves the "angle" problem, but for now, I have a really nice looking extra-large extra-large extra-large extra-large extra-large extra-large extra-large extra-large extra-large extra-large extra-large extra-large extra-large extra-large additional-large This is a large, comfortable rocking chair that will last forever. Sigh.
Poor build qualitybr>Finishing is horriblebr>Hardware is the cheapest possible stuff you can buybr>Came with chipped off wood, which I was willing to overlook because I really wanted a rocking chairbr>Assembly seemed relatively easy until one of the screws stripped, and it's impossible to undobr>Now I can't use it and if I can't undo it, I probably can't return itbr>So I.
Don't hesitate to buy this character if you're on the fence about it. Simply put it in your shopping cart. This chair is of exceptional quality. It was well-packaged and simple to put together. To your liking, it can be painted or stained. This, along with the matching side table, was purchased as a Christmas gift. In less than an hour, I completed both pieces. I will definitely purchase from this seller in the future.
Chair with a lot of room. I added a thin foam cushion to the mix. all the way down the length Just a touch of softness and comfort. I purchased two of them for my living room. They are substantial in weight and construction. I also added a foam stop to the rocker so that it remained more upright when the chair was empty, just to make it look nicer. br>We will, in fact, be purchasing more. Maybe they'll be able to make it outside this time.
This rocking chair was a great addition to our backyard; it's well-made and simple to put together (only two tools and four steps required). Even though I'm a big guy (285 pounds), these rockers don't even creak when I sit in them. They are the ideal height and are simple to exit. I strongly advise you to purchase these rockers. My mother adores it; their only criticism is that the package should include some bubble wrap to protect the wood.
