I'm guessing it's around 5 lbs. Moving around is simple. When I vacuum, I simply turn them over on my table upside down.
That's something I'm not sure about.

Although it states that they can be used outside, ours quickly rusted and now look terrible. Aside from the rust, the black paint has faded, and they should be thrown away. What a colossal waste of money.
The chairs arrived nearly a week ahead of schedule. They were well-packaged and simple to put together, with only the backs needing to be screwed on. Although the box said bronze, I ordered "gun" color, and the color is exactly what I expected. To replace some antique ladderbacks in the cabin, this is a fantastic addition. It's also surprisingly cozy. The only thing that makes me feel bad about them is that they're made in China, and I'd much rather buy American.
It's not suitable for use in the open air. The chairs arrived in a timely manner and were simple to put together. I purchased 8 for a covered patio just two weeks ago. Four of the eight chairs had uneven legs. The next day, we noticed that several of the chairs had rusted along the top edge after a storm blew some rain under the patio roof. These are not outdoor chairs, despite the fact that they are advertised as such. Even in the box, there is a warning that they should only be used indoors. On something so large, packing and return shipping can be a real pain.
What you pay for is exactly what you get! These chairs were advertised as being suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The product insert, however, clearly stated "Indoor use only" when they arrived. " And, while the assembly was relatively simple, aligning the holes where the screws were to be inserted proved to be a challenge. During assembly, two of my four chairs were badly scratched (where the metal backs had to be "stretched" over the holes to insert the screws). Having said that, I still plan to use them outside, and they were a great deal, so we'll see how they hold up.
Well, the fact that it took less than 24 hours from ordering to delivery was incredible. What wasn't so great was that I ordered eight matte black chairs and received eight light grey chairs instead. The construction and quality were identical to every other chair I'd ordered that looked exactly like these - I believe the ones with riveted backs, rather than bolt on, are superior.
They're fantastic. It's been over a week since I've received them. Despite the fact that we had a lot going on that day, my husband managed to whip up eight of these in under 30 minutes. We were able to fit 5 on one side of the table (we could only fit 4 with the old chairs because they aren't very wide). They arrived without any scratches or damage, are easy to clean, and don't leave any marks on my floors at the moment. They are fantastic!.
This is a fantastic deal. Although they are generally simple to put together, the screws and holes are not always perfectly aligned. They're small, but they're also tough. I had a table that could seat six people, but because these chairs are so small, eight people can fit around it. They'd be ideal for children and small adults. They're a little big, but they're still functional. We purchased 16x16 memory foam cushions, which provide excellent comfort and are slightly too large for the chairs but still look good. I needed a lot of inexpensive outdoor items that were also durable, and these met my criteria.
I've had them for a year and a half. If the screws become loose, locktite may be of assistance. The backs are far too prone to bending. By sitting too far back in them, my 140-pound son bent the backs of almost all of them. A total of eight chairs were purchased. They were a mistake I made. The paint began to peel almost immediately, and they were never intended to be used outside. They are prone to rusting. If you want them to last, get the warranty; I wish I had.
