I ordered two key lime and two aqua for a total of four. By putting it on a workbench with something to prop the arms and back against while putting in the bolts, I was able to assemble the first one (aqua) fairly quickly. The leg connector on the second one (key lime) was missing, so I had to put it aside; the leg connectors on the third and fourth were bent at the wrong angle, and when I went to put in the last bolt, one arm protruded three inches from the side of the seat. To complete the assembly, I placed each chair on the ground, turned it on its side, and sat on the arm to force it into place. I then had to reach under myself to attach the washer and nut to the bolt; even with two people, I doubt you could manually force the arm into place. Another choice is to use a tie-dye pattern. To draw the arm in, use a down strap with a ratcheting connector. br>br>They appear to be very sturdy for the three chairs I was able to finish. They had been well-packaged and were in perfect condition. However, something is wrong with these chairs because the arms are all pointing inward; I believe the leg connector is too wide, forcing the tops of the arms inward, giving them a cockeyed appearance. It's also possible that the back of the chair is a little smaller than the seat. br>br>According to the Crosley website, they are only open four hours per day, Monday through Friday. I filled out their online form to report the missing part on Friday due to covid, and I'll try to remember to update this review regarding their customer service and how they respond to the missing part issue on Saturday.
I used to have two old red'motel' chairs back in the 1980s. They were the place to go after the kids went to bed, in the yard, with a margarita in hand:) They signaled the end of the day, and it was time to unwind. I decided to take a chance and order this one. And there you have it. It's tough and comes in a close second to red in terms of color. Because it is a metal chair, it is not particularly comfortable. But it rocks a little, so I can easily move from the patio to the side yard and sit with my first cup of cover facing the rising sun. I've seen them advertised for twice the price, and I'm very happy with my decision.
I wanted to show that I've bought vintage-style metal outdoor sets before and assembled them myself - Even a glider that is supposed to take at least two people, if not three, to assemble and I did it alone - As a result, I'm a furniture assembler. I read the other reviews that stated that assembly was difficult and took their suggestions into consideration. I'm not sure if something else was wrong with this chair because putting it together was so difficult. I'm serious. I'm disappointed that the other brand I've been buying for this type of look no longer appears to be available, but I can assure you that I would not purchase this brand again. br>On the seller's side, there is an advantage - delivery in a timely manner.
These chairs are attractive; they are very comfortable, and they appear to be well-made and durable. Putting them together is a pain. You will undoubtedly require the assistance of two people. The majority of it is simple, but the last few screws necessitate a great deal of chair tension. Keep the screws loose (as directed in the instructions) - However, the balance is delicate. It'll fall apart if they're too loose, and you'll never get the last screw in if they're too tight. In the end, it'll be well worth it! They have a great look to them and should last a lot longer than plastic chairs.
These are fantastic, and I can't wait to put them outside (once the winter is over). They are difficult to put together, according to many reviewers. It was relatively simple for me because I relied on gravity. To hold the pieces together while you attach the arms and legs, turn the chair over and sit on it.
High-quality, durable, and well-made. The color combination is stunning. This chair has been designed to last a long time! It was a little difficult to put together using the instructions provided. As a result, I joined the back and bottom. Turn it over and attach a side piece to both the back and the seat. Turn the whole thing over to reveal the other side, and attach the back piece to it. The stretcher bar was next to be inserted. Then, while partially seated on that side piece, attach it to the seat. After that, all of the hardware was tightened. With a partially healed broken hand and wrist, I was able to put it together on my own; however, I would not recommend using these in direct sunlight. However, they're lovely and cozy in a shady or cool spot. I've already placed an order for a second chair.
This Crosley porch chair is absolutely gorgeous! It's sturdy, well-made, easy to put together, and extremely relaxing to sit in! Our farmhouse porch will look great with it. I also appreciate how well packaged it was, how quickly it was shipped, and how far ahead of schedule it arrived! The product and the seller both get two thumbs up!.
The chair and color scheme are both very attractive. However, unless you use a back pillow, it is not very comfortable. Nonetheless, I am so impressed with the chair's appearance and durability that I have given it five stars.
