I was having a similar issue. California is where I call home. Someone had returned a set, and I was able to locate it. I got a discount on it, and I can't find any flaws with it. They've met my expectations. This is how I got my couch, too!
br>Thank you, but not at this time.

The quality is excellent. Design and sturdiness. Note to those who are packing: During shipping, both chairs have a rubbing area on the right arm. We sanded it down, but some of the stain was removed as well. We didn't return them because we were expecting visitors for a week and needed them.
We had been looking for new patio chairs for over a year, but nothing seemed to fit, and what did fit was of poor quality. We took a chance and ordered these because they appeared to be well-made and the color was perfect. They arrived today, and we are ecstatic. These are well-made and simple to put together. I had a hex driver, so I didn't have to rely on the allen wrenches that came with the kit. We just placed a second order for two more. Obviously, I am unable to comment on long-term plans. long-term durability, but we'll update the review if any problems arise.
I really like these chairs, and once they're put together, they're very sturdy and comfortable. I do recommend them, and I believe they are of such high quality that they will outlast the chairs they replaced. The only problem I had was that one of the frame pieces was broken at a glue line/dowel. The other frame was strewn all over the place. I was able to repair them using some glue and some special finish screws that I had on hand. I glued the joints and used finish screws to reinforce them when putting the chairs together. The screws don't detract from the overall appearance of the piece. I only mention this because it may be a problem for some people looking for a simple installation (or if they need to repair a broken joint). I would not have noticed the break/separation if the joint had not been broken/separated, and I would not have applied the gluing/screw. br>br>I'm still pleased with the set, and I've been wearing it this fall.
These chairs were ordered to go with a loveseat I purchased last summer. They're very comfortable – deep and wide – and I like to use them with a back pillow, but they're also fine without one. br>When it's going to rain, I keep them covered, and I've found that tung oil on the acacia wood arms and legs keeps them looking nice.
These club chairs have exceeded our expectations in every way. They're attractive, simple to put together, and cozy. Seating is spacious and comfortable. The surface of the wood is smooth. br>The wicker is a little rough in spots, but it's not a deal-breaker. It's a little rough around the edges at first, but it'll probably smooth out with time. We added pillows for added back support. br>br>We looked for the perfect chairs for our enclosed pool deck in South Florida for a long time. It was well worth the wait for these.
When I contacted customer service, I got a response right away. They sent me a new pair of arms. There is some assembly required, so if you aren't handy with tools, this isn't an option for you.
I made the chairs, but they were too wide and bulky for my balcony, so I gave them to a friend.
