That's what I think will happen. Compared to any other chair I have owned, this is the most durable.
The chairs appear to be very solid, but I'm not sure if there's a weight limit. It is not hard to imagine 250-300 There are 300 pounds in this case. They are a lot stronger than the wooden equivalents because they are made from synthetic material instead of wood.
My granddaughter sits on my lap as I sit in it when I weigh 220 pounds. I don't know if that is posted anywhere, but, I do weigh that much. The weight of the woman is 50 lbs. It does not seem to bother it in any way.

But for the prices of these chairs (I bought two), which are $60 to $90 less than comparable chairs, I decided to try it out. I was able to assemble them in no time after receiving them. There is a number associated with each part, and that same numeral is associated with the part that fits to it. It took me 45 minutes to assemble both chairs by myself following the instructions on the sequence. Assemble the #1 part with the #1 part, the #2 part with the #2 part, etc. With 2 good looking chairs and $150 saved, I now have both. You should try them if you haven't already.

Last night, I assembled the first one in maybe 45 minutes. I found it to be very easy and the pictures were very clear. Thank you for this product. I am very pleased with it. Although I'm not tall, I will definitely need an ottoman for at least one of the chairs. The chair is comfortable, but since I am not tall, I will need to find an ottoman to go with it.
I really like how well this chair performs for the price. Our deck looks great because the material seems very weather resistant, and should last a long time. The chairs I ordered on Amazon are similar to ones I ordered from another manufacturer. It was a difference that the other one folded up, which I thought would be nice, but they were twice as expensive and seemed like they would never arrive (shipping kept getting delayed). In any case, I decided the Ashley chairs were worth a shot after canceling the other one after over a month. They are fantastic! I could not be happier! Despite the late arrival, they provided excellent service. Very simple to assemble even for an elderly woman like me at 58 years old It can be done by myself too!) It was just a matter of taking my time and being creative with holding pieces. I find them to be very beautiful and sturdy.
This is a first class, all weather product, especially considering the price. I'm not an expert at assembling things, but I was able to put together one chair in around 30 minutes with my 5mm socket wrench with a 5mm hex, which I purchased.
