We just needed some shade to keep our plants from getting damaged by the sun. leaves of the plants have improved and the burned leaves are no longer there! The only downside to this cover is it really absorbs heat, which means it is hot for most of the day - especially in the morning until about 2 or 3 pm. In addition, we bought it in the middle of a heat wave in Texas, so it feels like a thousand degrees outside.
I wish it was slightly thicker and covered more but would happily pay more for it. The installer is easy to use. This is a great looking house This is an EXTREMELY effective way to keep the balcony floor cool.

I could have 1 end of the screen at the wall, yet the other end would hook between the Thus, all I'm gonna do is try to punch a hole in the screen myself. I haven't yet tried it, but I hope it will work. Even though the screen is longer from one wall to the other, it should be able to complete its task. As for making the bottom half of the screen porch more private (we have a kiddie pool there), I like that it does make things more private.
