I feel damp The grass will not grow there. This item works great, folds back up easily, is thick and looks like it will hold up for some time. As of yet, I have not washed it. My feet did not get wet while sitting on the damp grass. Although the photo makes it look larger than it actually is, the space is large enough for 2 people The visual representation was misrepresented and one star was deducted. Nothing else to complain about. Using it a couple times, I found it to be plenty large. There might be a reason I'm larger than the women in the photograph. This is a five-star rating.

Yet the Velcro strips on the blanket are black, which stands out against the yellow background. It would have been better if they used a color similar to their clothes. All of these factors are not deal breakers for me, but I do take exception to things not working as described.

Because it is summer, she is wearing a onesie without pants, and the carpet was causing her bad rug burns. She was able to save her knees with this blanket because of the large surface area and because it is smooth. As a result, she also spit up on it (the joys of having a baby) and it wipes right off. Having extra space on the blanket allowed me to lay comfortably across it. The sheet is easy to fold (once it is folded tightly), but you do have to fold it right side up (where you lie on the sheet). There is no padding or cushion on this seat, as there is none. I can't determine why anyone even said it was thick, but I can tell you that it's thin. I love the original picnic pattern, it serves its purpose well.

So far I am impressed with it. I may have to update my review after using it a little, but so far it has been great. There isn't much thickness, but it's good enough to not feel grass and dirt under your feet, which is one of the main things I was trying to achieve. My intention was to use it at the beach. A nice feature of this fabric is that it's smooth - Sand won't stick to it because it's not fleece. Juice was spilled on it and it wasn't stained. The kids cleaned it up easily. There was a bit of water on the sand and the mat stayed dry. There isn't a lot of cushion on this bed, but it's not thin Therefore, bring a blanket or towel if you would like something softer to sit upon. We have two adults and two toddlers in this room, so it's a perfect size. It was a challenge to roll it back up, you have to fold it and roll it tight so that the Velcro matches up, but oh well. There is no way to weigh it down, or juggle it down, like there would be on a peg. Our bags had to be placed near the corners of the room. If I sew loops on the bottom, I may be able to tack it in place.
