In the Several of the holes drilled into one of the chair legs did not line up with the studs on the bottom of the seat. That was by far the closest thing to it. In order to make the hole bigger, we needed to use a Dremel tool. As well, the bolts, washers, and screws had to be inserted and tightened by several people at the same time while others bent and held legs and arms. Materials would seem strong enough, but the manufacturing process is not up to snuff since even the "good" holes did not line up precisely. To put this set together, a great deal of effort was necessary. Our larger sets from other manufacturers were far better made than the ones we had before. We'll see how it goes after it's assembled. It looks attractive and is likely to last for years to come.

I was not expecting it to be better and heavier than it is! It is not that difficult to put together, it just takes a while but it is My chair and table are great. I am very satisfied with them. They are also very sturdy, which I think I like even better than the chairs with arms. I would recommend this set to anyone looking for a nice bistro set for their patio. Looks like what it is supposed to be. To put this together, I spent quite a bit of time. The socket wrench and flathead screwdriver I had in my toolbox proved to be very helpful since the tools that came in the kit seemed like they would require It was impossible for me to attach the chair arm to the first chair. I tried everything to align the holes, but they refused to align. also attempted the other three arms, and they went on without incident. Upon closer inspection, it was apparent that the first chair arm was incorrectly sized. In a matter of hours, a replacement arm was sent to me by the company. I'm tall (between 6'1" and 6'2"), so the set is a little small for me, but not more so than most furniture is.
